2 week update: So far so still-not-bad! I spent a few days shoving my headphones on a chunky stuffed animal (A grim reaper squishable, if anyone is curious lmao), and that helped stretch and loosen the band. No more uncomfortable pinching! My ONLY complaint is... static. It doesn't happen all the time, but if I'm wearing these for an extended period of time (4+ hours minimum), I start to get a quiet crackle in the right ear. Fortunately the fix is just to unplug and replug the headphones. Admittedly I have not tried other USB ports on my computer to see if the problem persists. I fortunately have yet to experience the extremely loud crackle that some users have reported, just a quiet poprocks-sounding crackle. The sound has also grown on me! You just need to fiddle with the EQ to find a setting that works for you! ---- Original Review: I've had these headphones for a day now, so this review is based off of initial thoughts. I'll probably come back and update this after I've had the headphones for a while longer and broken them in a bit! I've been using the same pair of Razer Kitty Krakens for about 3 years now, (and before that I had ANOTHER pair of regular Krakens for about 5 years) and I've loved them, but like a lot of Razer stuff, they don't last (Disconnecting, crackling, popping sounds, etc). Still, they set the bar high for comfort and sound quality. So how do these compare? First off, these are much lighter, but without feeling fragile or dainty. My Krakens were prone to sliding off my head if I tilted my head down, but these stay securely in place--both a blessing and a curse. The clamping strength is pretty brutal. I don't have a particularly large head, but these still seem to be gripping onto my skull for dear life. Apparently the headband is made of a metal alloy, so that's not too surprising. I'm going to try cramming it on to a chonky stuffed animal while I'm not at my computer to help break them in a bit, because so far the tightness is my only complaint when it comes to comfort! As I type this I'm feeling a bit of that pinch already. The noise canceling is decent. They're the equivalent of ear muffs in that regard. The sound quality is different. Out of the box it's a bit thin and sparkly, definitely seeming to prefer the top end. That said, there are three EQ options PLUS the toggleable 7.1, which changes the sound too--and DRASTICALLY, at that. I find myself having to change the EQ depending on if I'm listening to music, playing video games, or watching stuff on twitch/youtube. The Krakens have a much warmer sound in comparison, and after years of using them, the fifine ones definitely sound brighter (not necessarily a good thing, but not bad either, just a matter of preference), but again that depends on the EQ you pick. Being able to switch the EQ and 7.1 SS right on the cable is a nice convenience. So over all, sound quality? It's good, but from my untrained ear these guys sound a bit more balanced than my Krakens that favor the low-end a bit more (backed up by its chart on RTINGS! Sadly the fifine headsets aren't on there yet to properly compare, though). Now, the microphone quality is INSANE. I've never heard a headset mic sound so clear. I love that it's removable, and I just hope I won't lose it. Finally, aesthetics? Stellar, in my opinion! RGB will always be fun, and I disagree with some reviews I've seen that say the rotating RBG on this looks cheap. Against the matte, I think it looks clean! Then again, I'm a sucker for RGB, so you do you! Overall, -for the price-, I'd say these are a solid pair of headphones! Playing with the EQ and surround sound options will be paramount for finding your preferred sound, and as long as the headband loosens up a bit with wear, I can see these becoming a very viable pair of headphones long-term, as long as they stand the test of time! ... show more

Noise-canceling and the microphone quality - those are the best parts about the H6. Audio quality is pretty decent, however, I've found that I never want to use the toggleable "7.1 surround sound" mode. It activates more speakers into the headset, and, in my opinion, drowns out overall quality for bass frequencies which is important to me. I use the gaming and music EQ modes for sure and there's a difference, gaming mode has a lot more bass and music mode has more of a sweet spot for mid/highs and working with more bass. Gaming EQ mode is surely the loudest mode. The in-line controls are easy to use, I do wish that the microphone mute indicator was on the outside of the microphone... There's no way to easily tell if you're muted or not. It was a weird design decision, but I'm happy that it's not a super important part of the headset to really complain about. It's plug and play, the cable is long enough to get up and stretch without getting snagged up on anything, it does an incredible job of providing noise-canceling without having to full blast the volume levels, and the microphone is WAY better than I thought it'd be. The microphone cable is also made of a flexible material that sticks to where you want to adjust it closer or further away from your mouth, and it's detachable. If you're looking for a noise-canceling headset that's comfortable and clear, full comms on the mic then this headset does exactly that. The 7.1 surround sound mode just isn't for me, could be personal preference, but the audio quality is pretty decent all around. It'd be a full 5 stars if the 7.1 seemed more useful to me. ... show more

Ordered this to use in gaming streams and it is top-notch! Sound quality rivals that of some of my substantially more expensive headphones and noise cancellation is great! I love that the microphone is detachable so I can use it when I'm playing group games and take it off when I'm streaming and using a bigger microphone. The only downside is that it's only USB so you have to get an adapter if you want to plug it into a standard headphone jack. ... show more

These were gifted headphones and I'm very glad to have them. The sound quality is really good there's a knob for the volume there is also a button for 7.1 surround sound, and an echo Button as well on the side. It is USB powered the mic is detachable the only thing I wish is that the wire was detachable unfortunately it is not. I hope in the future they make a Bluetooth headset other than that it's great for PC and console gaming. ... show more

1. Delivery arrived before it was supposed too. Which most people absolutely love that. 2. the headset is very comfortable. I don't get any pressure on top of my head with the headband. Also, the hears pad cover very well. Even whiteout sounds, if someone speak to me, I have to lift it cause I don't heard external sounds. 3. The rgb is so freaking cute and the smiley face !! 4. The only modification I would do on it it's a button to turn on or off the rgb light. When the headset is plug they are automatically on and the only way to turn it off is to unplug it from my PC. Not that it's matter when I wear the headset but from my bedroom, I can see my office and if they stay on its a bright light that I can't stand ahaha. For the price, great quality, sound is amazing.
