Great soap for leather items

I have never used saddle soap before but decided to make a purchase when it came time to cleaning my summer leather shoes in bright colors. I started with my bright red leather loafers with white trim around the bottom. They were quite dirty by the end of summer. I used this saddle soap and a round bristle brush purchased separately to do a thorough cleaning. Then I wiped off the leather shoes and let them dry. I buff them with a separate brush and applied leather conditioner. My shoes look fantastic! Can’t wait to do the rest of my shoes and some older vintage coach leather handbags that need a good thorough cleaning.

Really great stuff for leather

I have a cat who likes to jump up on one of my leather chairs and she gets it scratched up. I apply this saddle soap and it really makes the appearance so much better. The scratches practically disappear and it makes a nice sheen on the surface.

Great for genuine leather sofas

I use this on my genuine leather sofas to keep them clean and supple. I clean with a wet microfiber cloth to avoid scratches and then dry with another to reduce residue buildup. I follow up with Fiebiger mink oil paste to treat scratches on my navy leather.
