I have had the same Hoka shoes for literally the past 3 years. I refused to invest in new shoes. My Hokas have held up through the gym, runs on trails, and walks through Walmart. Eventually, I needed some new shoes. So, I went with these New Balance's. I was mostly needing some solid and comfortable running shoes for the gym/ trails and the occasional out and about errands. I LOVE THESE SHOES. These shoes are like a whiff of fresh air. Obviously, switching from a 3 year old pair to a brand new pair makes a huge difference...but regardless, these New Balances are super comfortable, super reliable, super thick, and give me looks from the pretty ladies when I walk by in the gym. Not sure what to say. The 13W was neither a 13 nor wide. I have had New Balance in the past and it seems the workmanship has declined. There are better quality shoes at Walmart. Very disappointed in New Balance. Better off buying a shoe made in the USA, UK, or Canada.
