This silver baritone horn needed only 10 minutes of professional adjustments to the low A and the octave mechanism to play well. My professional specialist - Jim Vogel of Woodwind and Brass Workshop, Williamsburg MA liked the horn! Unlike other repair people, he does not look down on Chinese-made saxes. Bottom line, other than the adjustments, I am thrilled with the horn. I am quite glad I did not spend years saving for an $8-14,000 new one! It came engraved which was a nice plus. I wish FidgetGear had offered a standard lacquer version rather than all the other varied colors. Oh well, sIlver polish Ho! Finally, I wish there was some clarity in the true source of these saxes. Many looked the same as those sold under the Taishan label. I am betting mine is a Taishan. ... show more
