I put this desk together with my 12 yr old daughter in about 50 min. I expected it to be more difficult with the electrical and moving pieces, but it was very doable. I love the durability, is a perfect size and it’s a great oak wood color. We are very happy with this purchase.

I’ll start by saying my experience with buying this desk was less than ideal and somewhat sours my value of the desk, despite a few caveats. This has no impact on my review, I just wish my circumstances turned out differently with it. Read this review at length if you’re interested. TLDR below. I purchased this desk after having it saved in my list for close to two months, maybe more, to scrounge up the money. It is/was one of the best reviewed desks at the price point, and I needed a good standing desk, so I figured it’s worth the cost. The day after I purchase it for full price, it goes on lightning deal for $288 and Amazon wouldn’t throw me a bone on the difference. Coincidence, or unlucky shopping algorithm? I’ll let you decide. The desk itself I’ll say has lived up to about what I expected. After spending two hours of my evening building it with minimal hardship, I found it on-par with my expectations. The wood material is a cut above the average balsa/pressed particle wood you’d expect from most affordable furniture. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not solid wood, but the build quality is solid. This includes the metal legs/frame materials and the hardware. The unit I received had no issues as far as screws lining up, threading, etc. Everything you need is included, minus a screwdriver with a Philips head, and some extra bolts to boot. Now, my main issues are two-fold. First, my keyboard tray is a bit on the stiff side. That will be great when the day comes to move the thing — it won’t slide out easily and whack walls on the way out. However, I had hoped it would be a smoother action on it. This is after quadruple-checking my installation was correct. Maybe with WD40 and some patience it will sort itself out over time. It’s functional nonetheless. My second issue is with the included LED light strip. Perfectly fine on its own, but perhaps its time spent in a warehouse has deteriorated the adhesive on the back. I can’t get this strip to stay put. I’ve used my DeWalt mini-clamps in an effort to give it some time to set, and still nothing. I’m not committed enough to double-sided tape the darn thing, nor will I glue it or replace it with a new one. I shouldn’t have to. I bought the desk for the desk, the lighting was just a nice option. The strip itself works wonderfully, is very bright, and will appeal to those of you looking for one. It shines off the rustic brown like a glass-top table. I really can’t complain on that front. Keep in mind, you need to light the LED strip with a separate power source via standard USB connection. TLDR: Solid desk, but I would wait for a sale. As good as this desk is, and it met all my expectations, I can’t honestly say it’s worth my $370+ after tax. I waited two months and never was offered a sale until after I purchased. Your mileage may vary on the keyboard tray stiffness and LED strip adhesive being cooperative. Other than that, the height adjustment/control works well and is as advertised. Materials are solid, hardware was lined up and cooperative. It was relatively easy to assemble, you just need to pay attention to the instructions for specific steps/hardware and you need a couple of hours if doing it alone. If I have issues, I’ll update my review.

Now that my work has sit-stand desks and I have a hybrid work from home schedule, I can never go back to a non adjustable desk! It's not just the easy of standing. The adjustable height just helps set up my desk easier for better posture. I'm short (5'3") so adjusting the chair height only does so much. The fact that you can save the settings is great to and makes this better than my work desk. Anyway, it was really easy to assemble. I did it mostly by myself over an afternoon. I did need my husband to help me flup it when it was time to put the desktop on. All parts were labeled well and while the directions didn't really have any text, the diagrams were easy to figure out. The only part that was confusing was the glass top. There isn't really anything indicating which was to orient it, which side was "up", but the sides are a little bit different. Decent quality for the price. I expect to have it for a long time. My husband has a much more expensive (commercial-grade) desk. Comparing the two, his has a much deeper width (30in), and this one is 26in. I could use the extra space, so I'd love for this company to make one with more depth. But I'm super happy with the drawers on this and this desk was 1/3 of the price of my husband's desk. It's really pretty. I would recommend getting a mouse pad or desk blotter. I haven't scratched it yet, but I was a little nervous about that since I do paper cut outs and woodburning at home. I did notice that a mouse is nicer on a pad than the bare desktop as well.

OK,silly headline. DUH, if I like it it does what it is supposed to do. Seriously though well made, went together fairly easily, took off a star due the picture instructions could have been clearer on a step or 2. It feels solid, can be used with or without included wheels and strong enough to support my 2 monitor environment and my bad habit of leaning on it when it standing position. Even looks good. If y'all need a complaint, an inch or 2 deeper would be better.

When I first ordered this desk (which I had my eye on for quite some time), The one that I got had a tiny chip in the wood on one of the corners, even though it was really well packed. I reached out to customer support, and they sent me a new desk top right away, with no problems. I wanted to wait a while and use the desk before writing a review. I am 5'5", and I feel that the desk is a perfect height for me, in both a sitting and standing position at the lowest and highest levels. If you are taller, you're going to have to prop your laptop on a platform. If you're shorter, the desk will not be low enough for you (I would even prefer if it went a bit lower). The mechanism to raise and lower the desk works smoothly and quickly, but it is not silent, so if that's a concern for you, just be aware. I love the longer length - I have enough room to fit my desk chair and my GOYOUTH 2 in 1 Under Desk Electric Treadmill (which I am loving) side by side. I am so glad that I purchased this desk. I was getting back pain on a daily basis from sitting all day and studying, but now, using my treadmill with this desk, my pain is relieved. A definite must buy!!!
