This is my first adjustable standing desk and it was worth it. It's not the best desk but it is affordable and functional. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the value. If you don't have a standing desk, but you think it would be good for your health to switch between sitting and standing, and aren't sure if it would be worth buying a cheap standing desk, well it was definitely worth. The actual dimensions of the 48" x 24" desk are 120 cm x 60 cm which is about 47.25" x 23.625". Arrived quickly. Assembly took about 1 hour. A couple of the screws were tight fits to tighten. The desktop comes in two pieces which are joined during assembly. So there is a seam running lengthwise down the middle, and it is not as structurally solid as a standard single piece desk. I'm not sure if the other colors offer a single piece top, but if and when I buy another standing desk in the future, I'll be shopping for that feature. This particular "rustic brown" style has a very slight grain in the surface of the wood. This desk is not ideal for writing on a single sheet of paper laying on the desk. It is not a perfectly smooth surface. But it does look good. And I could smooth it out and refinish it if pretty easily, but it's not a game changer for me personally. The best feature is that it raises and lowers smoothly, and I can go up or down by 1 millimeter at a time to get the height just perfect. It comes with 4 programmable height buttons, making it quick and easy to switch between sitting and standing as often as I want in about 10 seconds. The effortless adjustment part of the product is 5 stars. It comes with 4 "pads" on the bottom, but they can also be removed to have it on "skis" for carpeting. Or you can install the roller wheels if you're on a hard surface. There are two cable management openings in the back corners of the desktop. My wife and I assembled the desk and it took a while mainly because the instructions were not clear, and the ones on You Tube are for different models. The desk works fine but it is a bit wobbly and the button console in the front also does not fit tightly onto desk. I suspect that some of the screws supplied are not the right size and the holes a bit too big. We may at some point uninstall and try to assemble again but works for now. Overall nice desk and good price but the instructions supplied can be better. I suspect part of the problem is we both are not good at putting things together! Great value for a motorized sit / stand desk. We ordered 11 for a commercial office space. It took a little bit longer to assemble the first one, but once I had the hang of it, I was able to assemble the rest in about 30 to 40 minutes each. They are sturdy and attractive. As others have noted, the only thing that would make them better is if the top was a little bit thicker and came in one piece. However, that's a small trade off and probably necessary to make shipping easier and keep the cost down. We had an error message on the controller for one out of the eleven units, but it was resolved right away with a call to the customer service number. I had been wanting a standing desk and found this one online that was very reasonably priced. The desk was very easy to put together (we bought 2 - his/hers). My husbands desktop came with a small hole in it but the computer covers it - we thought about exchanging but after the time spent putting it together we didn't think it was worth the time/effort. Engine works well and the desk feels very sturdy (although the top could be a bit more solid). The 48' works well in small spaces (as shown in picture) but the 53' gives you extra space (if your room permits it). Overall very pleased ;p ... show more

Over all this desk is excellent for the price. The motor is pretty quiet and being able to have the preset heights is amazing. My only disappointment is mostly my fault, I didn't realize when I ordered that the actual desk top came in two pieces which isn't a problem in and of itself, however I noticed after setting up my desk clamp monitor mounts that the piece it's attached to has some noticeable bowing in it which causes a slight bump in the middle of the desk. The material hasn't cracked or anything so it seems sturdy enough, just there is a slight bowing going on so if you have heavier monitors on a monitor mount I'd watch out for that. ... show more

With multiple presets the desk is perfect for use by 1-2 people. The adjustable height is enough that myself 6” and spouse 5’2 are both able to easily use it standing or sitting. The only drawback is that there is a split seam down the center. Despite the seam it does not bother or get in the way of either of us. The desk is extremely sturdy even when the height is maxed out. Putting it together was extremely easy and didn’t require any special tools that most wouldn’t have on hand. This is a great desk for WFH. I have a large monitor/keyboard and smaller laptop and they fit great. If you had an issue come up with an error code that looked like “AS7”, try pushing the down button for about 5 seconds a couple times to reset. Mine stopped adjusting after a few weeks so I reached out to the company and they replied with an easy fix, thank goodness. I work long days at home so having the option to stand and stretch while working has been a lifesaver! Totally recommend for the price ... show more
