The desk arrived promptly and very well packed. Not a single mark or scratch on the contents despite FedEx covering the box with mud ! The instructions are at least readable, in other words printed large enough to read without resorting to a magnifying glass! Could do with a little better explanation on the installation of the motor but other than that it was a 20 minute assembly time. When I completed the assembly I tried to make the desk move up and down but the motor seemed dead. A little frustrated I combed through the instructions but no FAQ or problem solving notes. I contacted the seller via the Amazon website but as they are probably in Asia I realized I would have to wait 24 hours for a reply, in the mean time I searched YouTube and found a video specifically addressing this issue. The small control panel just needed to be reset. After following the video instructions the desk finally started to move up and down. For $79.99 I am very pleased, it's not the most stable of desks but I intend to do some modifications to stabilize the legs and possibly make the top a little larger as I will be using this to hold my laser machine and laptop. I may also add some wheels to aid in mobility. The rubber leg adjusters are removable and will probably receive std threaded castors? If you are just wanting a light weight inexpensive computer desk then i'm sure this will do the job if you are willing and able to assemble it and reset the motor control. For more heavy duty uses I suggest a more substantial and expensive unit ..

This is my first adjustable standing desk and it was worth it. It's not the best desk but it is affordable and functional. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the value. If you don't have a standing desk, but you think it would be good for your health to switch between sitting and standing, and aren't sure if it would be worth buying a cheap standing desk, well it was definitely worth. The actual dimensions of the 48" x 24" desk are 120 cm x 60 cm which is about 47.25" x 23.625". Arrived quickly. Assembly took about 1 hour. A couple of the screws were tight fits to tighten. The desktop comes in two pieces which are joined during assembly. So there is a seam running lengthwise down the middle, and it is not as structurally solid as a standard single piece desk. I'm not sure if the other colors offer a single piece top, but if and when I buy another standing desk in the future, I'll be shopping for that feature. This particular "rustic brown" style has a very slight grain in the surface of the wood. This desk is not ideal for writing on a single sheet of paper laying on the desk. It is not a perfectly smooth surface. But it does look good. And I could smooth it out and refinish it if pretty easily, but it's not a game changer for me personally. The best feature is that it raises and lowers smoothly, and I can go up or down by 1 millimeter at a time to get the height just perfect. It comes with 4 programmable height buttons, making it quick and easy to switch between sitting and standing as often as I want in about 10 seconds. The effortless adjustment part of the product is 5 stars. It comes with 4 "pads" on the bottom, but they can also be removed to have it on "skis" for carpeting. Or you can install the roller wheels if you're on a hard surface. There are two cable management openings in the back corners of the desktop. Overall great upgrade for me, should have bought one years ago. Customer support treated me well.
