Just received two days ago. So far they are working well. Easy to set up and there is a users manual online. Not a lot of detailed information about settings and selections, but I imagine if you experiment a while you'll figure it out. UPDATE 6/2025: Had a snare failure that was the sensor inside the drum. Communicated with Olivia through Amazon messaging. Got a response less than 24 hours. Took a couple of days working with support to identify where the problem was. Anytime they needed any information turn around was always less than 24 hours. Olivia said someone would call me and get all the info to send me the parts if I felt comfortable replacing the sensor. She emailed me a video of the sensor and cableing. I got the call within 24 hours of Olivia sending the request to support. This is one of the most supportive companies I have worked with in a very long time.

I hate to leave this kind of review, but here’s the truth about this kit. It ok, just ok. I feel like too much work was put into making it look nice and not enough with the module itself and/or also the kick pad. If you have a double bass pedal, forget about it. If you put a double on the kick pad it doesn’t center properly and the beater hits the rim of the sensor. If you lower the beaters the second hit from the kick doesn’t even register so you can’t even hear it. Also if you plan on going hard on the kick the whole rack shakes because it’s mounted to the rack. Very disappointing. However, I do appreciate the gear it comes with, if you’re a beginner drummer and have 1k to spare, this is definitely the kit. It comes with absolutely everything needed to get started. In my opinion, this kit is NOT for an intermediate drummer.

I am not a professional or even an advanced drummer. Having said that this is my second electronic drum set. My first set I purchased about 15 years ago and although fun, the technology was no where near where it is today. As for this drum kit. I recently got back into playing music which is to say I mess around with guitar and drums. If I am being honest I am not a beginner but probably just below intermediate level on both. When it came to my electronic drum search I took a long time. I was specifically looking for a kit that had mesh heads, rim functions, a decent kick drum setup and something that wasn't flimsy. My research included reading numerous kit details, reviews and watching whatever was available online in the form of reviews or videos. Obviously I wasn't looking into investing 3K for as professional kit however, I didn't mind paying a little extra for something good. The Fesley 1500 W Electronic Drum Kit looked very attractive. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot out there in reviews or videos to look over. I was hesitant on this brand/model and actually was leaning towards another brand you see listed everywhere with lots of models. I went back and forth for months. Finally I said what the heck and purchased the Fesley. Here are my thoughts. Construction wise, the lit is solid. The frame is slightly above others I have seen and read about as far as being a little more robust. My only complaint is that it does not sit high enough for what I would think the average adult drummer would want. Mind you, the kit is marketed as an adult kit. The lower height really comes into play with the Toms. I love that the snare has its own stand. The kick drum, as you see in the picture is a good size actual drum looking drum. It is however mounted to the legs of the stand. You will probably have to do what I did and shift it to the far right for your setup, It feels better there. If you get the kit that comes with a drum throne don't expect much. Fortunately I already had a great one. Same for the sticks. Now, for the important part, the quality of the drums and the cymbals are really good. They feel good and their response is great. The cymbals do have multi zones and sometimes you have to hit just the right spot to get like the bell sound and that is not always top middle. The brains or module is rather on the weak side as far as design, and the manual, if you can really call it that, is very lacking in information on the module. Overall I am happy with the kit. I enjoy playing it, I enjoy the Bluetooth compatibility. The quality of the kit looks like it will last for a while. I would recommend they make changes to the kit stand, maybe add telescoping post to allow the user to adjust height. And develop a decent manual, beef up that website so a user can get tutorials on how to use the module. Other than that, it is a great kit.

Where to start. The drum set is not fun to set up. There are a lot of parts. The instructions are a joke and communication with the manufacturer is even more difficult. The manufacturer doesn’t understand English so if I was Korean I would have been better off accounting to the company. There is a terrible balance in the drums. The slides on the control module are not smooth and difficult to adjust properly . I couldn’t get the duel strikes to work on the 3 tom drums and both cymbals. The drum kits are hard to set up to make reasonable sounds. The bass drum is too quiet hard to hear. The head set is garbage and hurts to wear. The sound quality is so bad that it drove me crazy. Even with a good head set it was impossible to get working. Emails with the company on different time zone is impossible. Try to communicate with them and understand each other impossible. It makes no sense to me and on top of it all communication with Amazon is not working either because I can not get someone who speaks English any more. Waisted too much time and now I am just mad. The one of the tom drums was not connected to the mounting point and wobbled terribly. I would have had to take it apart and try to tighten it up. Too much work for a new drum set. Who needs a big project like this to try to have a little fun? The cables are too short and make set up difficult. The seat hurts. I would go on but why? The drum sticks were damaged and will destroy the mesh heads if you use them. Customer support is as useless as the drums. They have no knowledge about the product. How to use it. If you don’t want to actually use it and hear yourself then you are in luck. Because it doesn’t work anything like this the video!!!!!!!! Update the bass drum kick tower cuts in and out whenever it wants to when you’re playing after a short time of using Chinese garbage. Designed by Koreans made by the Chinese, what could be lost in the translation the control unit is wonky and the bass drum turns on and off by itself. Now there is a cracking sound that blows out your ears when you are using headphones and it is two months old. I contacted the manufacturer and they declined fixing it under the one-year warranty. This is a do not buy. It only lasted two months and I didn’t even play hard on it because I can’t. I’m handicapped my feet are not as strong as they used to be . I’m just trying to enjoy a little time that I have left on this planet and Fesley destroyed that. I recommend not to buy this product. Don’t support the Chinese and Koreans if they don’t want to honor their warranty.!!!!!!! Do not buy!!!!
