The crimping tool is well suited for the DIYer. I have included pictures of the packaging with pertinent information and contact information. The price for the tool and 1800 wire ferrules makes this a great buy. This review is about the tool but since the product included 1800 wire ferrules that made this a good buy, for me, it should be mentioned the ferrules seem to be thin gauge metal. Testing the tool without wire is not a suitable testing method other than determining if the device works as intended. Great set for the DIY projects. The included ferrules are nice quality and the crimping tool works great except for the smallest size, the crimper just doesn’t compress the ferrule enough for a solid connection.

Works as advertised. I had some smaller ferrules that came with my CNC kit, but they are smaller than the ferrules in the this kit and the tool would not crimp these, so some disappointment . Overall I used it a lot and it worked well.

I've used the heck out of this package, ferrules and crimper, crimper and ferrules. the one thing I found is that these ferrules have an 8mm pin length and at times I would need a slightly long pin length, I found that I can pop off the plastic insulation and now I have a 12mm pin length (no insulation however lol).
