These are very good-looking, comfortable, sturdy, high-quality chairs. (The gray "leather" is DARK gray, like a deep slate, almost black). Our guests sat in them contentedly for hours the day I assembled them. It's true that they're not SUPER easy to swivel, but once a person's weight is on them, they swivel with the exact right amount of tension, so the rotation doesn't take you by surprise. Caution: They are easy to assemble, but I did strip a screw putting on the seatback, because I tried to insert it at the wrong angle. (However, losing one of the six seatback screws did not seem to negatively impact its strength/stability.) For the second seat, I dry-fitted the seatback screws before attaching the back to confirm how they line up, and I didn't have an issue assembling that one. I suggest inserting the outer screws first, to better align the holes--they do begin with some resistance, but don't try to force the screws--you may need two hands to spread the backrest properly. Also, the stools come VERY well packaged. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase, and am buying another set.

Sturdy with nicely padded cushions. When assembling do not tighten screws all the way on legs until directions state to do so. Then everything lines up and works perfectly. Fabric is a pretty deep brown. They fit under our 36-inch countertop with a couple inches to spare. Swivel is quiet and easy to use. Very attractive and short back rest with curve holds you safely. Very comfortable. We have had these chairs a couple of months and I love them. Again, they are very sturdy.

Bought 3 sets (6 stools) in bar height not counter height. The stools look great and match our decor, are very solid and seem to be well made. They are comfortable too. Assembly was very easy- quicker if you have your own hand tools than using the included Allen wrenches but still easy. Only one screw of all 6 stools was misaligned and caused the screw to cross thread, which is a victory considering experience with most other furniture assembly. Only thing I didn’t love is that for the stool to be bad height instead of counter height, there are 6” leg extensions. They go on easy but don’t quite match up with the “line” of rest of the leg; you probably wouldn’t notice, but I do since I physically them together. Not enough to take away a stat. Would order again.

These stools are the right height for eating at my island. I ordered some “counter height” stools several months ago that were too high for eating (26+”). So I started searching for 24” stools. They are hard to find. These are comfortable, sturdy, look like expensive stools. My only complaint, I wish they had been a lighter gray as shown in some of the pictures, the seats & backs are almost the same color as the black legs. I just ordered another set.

Stool is fine. There were literally no instructions in the box. I watch the video Amazon has here and the parts are not labeled correct. Its not difficult to figure out, but come one. Instructions should be accurate.

Got the 30 in set for my bar and absolutely love it. Easy to put together, very sturdy and best of all, comfortable. Wish I could purchase one additional one, but it’s currently sold only as a set of 2. Def recommend them though!

I like the swivel as I can avoid neck strain when I face forward or to the side to watch tv. The 4 sit partially under the bar so are somewhat discreet next to the living room furniture. The first stool was difficult to assemble but the others were easier once I assembled the first one. The trick is that all of the screws have to be exactly at the correct angle and that was a challenge at times, figuring out what the magic angle was. The rest was easy. There’s not that many pieces to fit together. The back is just high enough to lend some support so if you want to lean back like in a chair these are not for you. But I sit in them a lot and find them comfortable. I’ve used them for several months and all is well. Sturdy and attractive.
