non skinny water bottles won’t fit in the outer elastic side pocket. Skinny bag which is fine for grades that only carry a couple papers/a folder home but not deep enough for much more.

I bought this for my daughter for school. Its a good size on her she is in 1st grade. I thought it would be bigger it is kind of small. And the water bottle pocket is kind of small, hard for her to get water bottle in and out. But other wise great bag we are happy with it
