Strait neck, fret work was a little rough, guitar is playable right out of the box. This came with a very nice case, with fender logo. Pickups are ceramic and had a ok sounding tone, while ordering I ordered a set of alnico v pickups, kept the white pickup covers and put a set of dadario 10's on, it's so nice. Well worth the $35 up grade. With a set up and a little fret work. I love it... I wanted to add a Strat to my collection with out spending a lot and this was great way to go, if you are on the fence, buy it. It's a very nice guitar. I love the satin finish. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This thing arrived defective. The amp is totally busted. Took it to music store and they tested the amp and it is unusable. Waste of money. Update: I contacted the seller and they send me a replacement amp which was crabby as well. I took the guitar and the amp to a Guitar Store and they verified the amp is very bad quality. Hooked up the guitar to one of their amps and the sound was ok. While at the store they tuned the guitar for me but realized it was losing tension and gets out of tune within 5 minutes of playing. They said that the guitar tensioners are bad quality So, now I am at $249 for this set and $104 for the amp I got. And still having issues. I am thinking of returning this to Amazon and get a decent beginner's guitar at the local store with a decent amp for $299. ... show more
