This is my first Fender guitar and I must say it exceeded my expectations. I have a Squire, Ibanez, Gretch and Yamaha but this guitar became my favorite right of the bet. Sounds really good on my Boss speaker without any pedals. I love the clean tones as well as distraction ability. Stratocaster design makes it really comfortable to play. Fretboard is finished with gloss polyurethane which makes it look cool and helps your fingers to move between cords. That cherry color is amazing but that’s more of a personal preference. I love the guitar. Plays great. Looks great. Feels great. Sounds great. Quality appears to be top notch. It arrived in a box that had been damaged in shipping with a couple of scratches and a small dent in the back of the guitar. The seller offered me a return and I ended up accepting a partial refund since the damage was minor and on the back of the guitar, so not visible when I am playing. My only complaint is that the box could have been better padded to protect against shipping damage. ... show more

It’s my first Fender Strat guitar and coming from a Squier Strat I can feel a huge upgrade in my hands and ears , it just plays smoothly and feels nicely , I recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade and have an excellent guitar without selling a kidney.

Came packaged in the original shipping box within another larger box. Had great tone right out of the box. I am new to playing guitar so I am not the best judge of one. However, this strat is really great for the price and the fact I was able to purchase online. If this is how a "made in Mexico" Fender Strat sounds, I can't even imagine how much better an American made Strat could be. Very please with the entire transaction. Was a bit nervous speding several hundred on line, but not a problem. Great guitar! ... show more

Beautiful guitar but came with no tremolo bar nor fender booklet or tool that usually comes with Fender guitars. Difficult to find how to request help . Everything leads to return which I just need missing items. Love the way it sounds and plays

This is my 4th Fender and love them all. This one is no exception. Great neck and pickups makes it easy to play. Solid construction that you can feel as soon as you play it once. Nothing loose, no rattles just a terrific Stratocaster.

I got this guitar cheaper because it was used in “good” condition. Was expecting some scratches in the body but it arrived and looked “like new”, so I was pleasantly surprised. Then I plugged it in and realized why someone had returned it, the neck was a mess, it was fretting in several places and the setup was bad. Also the pau ferro fretboard was very coarse to touch and pale. Since I got it at discount I decided to fix the neck. Took quite a bit of work, and about $100 in materials, that I can reuse to setup my other guitars. Had to file down 8 frets and sand the fretboard, then applied oil on it and it brought in the beautiful color from the pau ferro. Last I also rounded the fret ends that are pretty sharp and not very comfortable. It would be very easy at least to sand the fretboard before fretting. Fender needs to do a better job here. The strings that came with it were pretty bad, so highly recommend changing them. All in all, bad quality control, but a beautiful instrument. ... show more
