  • Super fun to play!!!
This guitar is the absolute BEST!!!!! Easy to play for all levels of experience. I've been playing for 39 years, but, I put my guitars down and don't pick them up for a while. Not this guitar!!! I can't put it down. It is extremely easy to start a groove and keep going. Fun! Fun! Fun!

  • Old style non sealed boxlike vintage tuners with small holes.
Vintage box style old fashioned tuners. Be aware that this guitar has the old style tuners with the imherent smaller bore hole in the headstock. You must ream these holes ti fit replacement high quality sealed or locking tuners of the modern type. This is technical worl if you have not done it before. Better idea to buy a Player strat because they have the modern Fender style tuners. Or buy another version that definitely has the non boxlike tuners of the modern sealed type. Or even a Squier CV series strat but make sure it has modern tuners. If you want to replace the modern style tuners with better more refined and previse tuners it is not a problem because replacement tuners are of the ‘direct drop in’ replacement types. This saves you workand money and gains you a guitar that has easier and more previse tuning. This is an important consideration, more appreciated the longer you play. I suggest selecting and buying exactly the guitar that you are wanting, within your financial restraints, that absolutely has ‘all’ of the qualoties that you want. Buy what you want to begin with, in the form that most fits your financial situation. Great inexpensive guitars are available that have all of your required specifications. I have some of these: jackson js22 King V hard tail 7 string … great very inexpensive guitar. A specialty item but very nice and also inexpensive. Every type of guitar is available inexpensively and of good value and quality. You just need to look around and read reviews. Don’t assume things that you haven’t checked out. You might find some excellent inexpensive items of great interest. ... show more

  • Required repair on receipt.
Excellent playing beautiful guitar, but mine came with the neck pickup wired incorrectly leading to low out put and a tinny sound from my favorite pickup selection. I would have expected someone to plug this in and play it before shipping and I’m disappointed to have received an item that requires repair. ... show more

  • Lots of setup needed !
Guitar overall was great ( how do you beat a Fender) . However, I had to do an entire set up on the guitar to get to factory specs. All the frets were sharp and extended. Action was extremely high and the Tremolo was sitting up a good 1/2" from the body. If your inexperienced at set up, I would recommend buying from your local music store so you can see and feel it for yourself. Most stores have a setup guy on site to fix your needs. This would have cost me additional funds $$$ had I not known certain setup practices. Again great guitar (fender) ... show more

  • No brainer!
Excellent guitar with some recent tweaks which make it a little easier for a beginner to embrace and manage the fret work. Sounds fine. No longer made in the USA. Looks nice. Fair value.
