We have replaced so many wheels on our iron gates that I don't even know what to say. When they fail, you have to drag the iron gate across the dirt trying to get it to open or close, which is very frustrating. As soon as I unpacked this wheel, I knew it was made differently ...... Doing it better!The 360 degree swivel spring door wheel is incredibly smooth every time it twists, turns or rolls. It moves effortlessly and adapts to our bumpy, dirt and gravel terrain. The spring mechanism provides shock absorption so the door wheel glides smoothly and also has a locking wheel mode so that I can secure the gate, great idea!

For several years the gate has been sagging and I've been trying to figure out how to prop it up so it doesn't scrape the concrete driveway. The gate is very heavy so it needs some form of support. This gate wheel may be a bit of a big deal for accomplishing this task, but it works! I used to have to push hard on one end of the gate to get it fully open, now the gate rolls easily on the wheel. I never knew this device existed, but when I saw it, I knew it would solve my problem.

I don't know how long this gate wheel/caster setup lasts, but it sure seems to be built to last. They rate it as being able to support a 600lb gate, so it handles my smaller gates with ease. I could have gone with a smaller size, but at the time I could only get these wheels/casters that swivel instead of being rigidly mounted.

I installed these fence wheels on a wooden double fence. Each fence panel is 10 feet long and the ground consists of a base (gravel). These casters were easy to install and roll easily over the base. Now I love opening up my backyard fence. Great wheels. Runs fine!

This is an extra heavy duty gate wheel. This is the heaviest duty wheel I have ever come across. If you have a very sturdy wooden gate, or just want a very durable wheel, then this is the wheel you want.

Installed them on a wooden gate that is on concrete. They move easily and smoothly. They feel very nice and durable and are giving the gate some extra support. So far so good. I hope they will work as nice on gravel and dirt.
