A riding lawnmower smashed into a fence post, leaving me to deal with the damage. Facing an inability to find someone to replace the post at a reasonable cost of hundreds of dollars, I turned to Fence Daddy. The instructions made sense, and in one afternoon I repaired it! The double layer of epoxy coating is hard just like the plastic, the color matches, and you have to get real close to notice the repair. I did a lot of gentle sanding to smooth it out without removing too much. I only wish I had the skill to apply a single smooth layer like the professionals do, which would have saved me some sanding.     • Be very careful with the patch paper. They only give you two pieces of it.

Although the actual compound mix portion of the product works as advertised, the fact that only 2 pieces of the adhesive patch paper are provided in a $50 kit is a bit crazy. I had never used this product before, and I burnt through 3/4 of my patch paper trying to cover the first of ~ 6 holes, as I failed to cleanly press it into the groove between boards the first two times. Trying to learn to work with the patch paper was a $25 mistake, as I now need to order more patch paper or order an entire kit. I implore Fence Daddy to include at least 4, if not even 5 or 6 pieces of patch paper with these kits. That would make the stakes much lower for messing up the sticker portion. However, if I'm the only one who is experiencing this strife, then perhaps I am the problem :D EDIT: Fence Daddy support helped me procure replacement patch paper without any fuss. They were prompt and kind with their assistance. I'd give this a product a 5/5, but I still feel like 2 pieces of patch paper is a bit light in a $50 kit. ... show more

We purchased White Fence Daddy for a Vinyl Fence that was extremely damaged by Hail, there were as many as 60 holes. The cost to replace the fence was over $7k, it was covered by insurance but our roof was a total loss as well. Because of depreciation only the roof could be replaced. We looked for options and found Fence Daddy. I spoke directly to Fence Daddy about doing the repair and they were extremely supportive. The product is just short of amazing, it has turned an eyesore into something we hardly notice. It took 3 Fence Daddy kits to do this 160$ VS $7k The photos are some before and after ... show more

    • My "GO TO" Repair Kit

I rarely write reviews, but since I am on my 4th kit, I had to share how HAPPY I am with it. I have a teenage son who plays roller hockey and shoots pucks EVERY DAY on the driveway. Of course, he has damaged our vinyl fence a couple times, so FENCE DADDY has solved my problem very quickly and easily. It takes patience and focus to use, and I can't say that I've applied it "perfectly", however I know it's done a great job when I have to look super closely to find where the original damage was! That's a pretty good sign. Look no further to repair your cracked vinyl fence. This kit is THE BEST in my book and I will continue to buy it in the future, since I know my son will miss the net a couple more times ;) ... show more

    • The best option on the market

I did some research on the options available to me to fix a hole that went through both sides of the fence. All the other options had additional steps or did match correctly, so I took a chance on the Fence Daddy one. All I can say is WHOA. After mixing and applying the compound, it looked a little brighter than the white of the fence, but when it dried you can't even see a line where the original fence's vinyl is and the new vinyl I added (and they was even before I sanded it) It's a bit pricier than the other options, but it's worth every penny (also, don't forget that the box comes with 2 applications, so it actually comes to be nearly the same price as the crappier ones). ... show more

    • The colors do not match up
Color: Almond
The colors were not even close to matching the standard color vinyl fencing produced. I had to take a slat of fencing in and get it color matched and purchase a sample size to paint over it. The puddy is EXTREMELY hard and so put a very thin layer of it on and make sure it is smooth. It seemed easier to just put the puddy on my hand and smooth it on instead of using the tongue depressor and spatula. It will take a lot of sanding afterwards and I had to purchase additional sandpaper. I think could have completed this job with just using the drywall patch repair kit and the same method for paint. But if you need a very hard and tough substance then def. go with their puddy. There is a YouTube video to watch as well to help with understanding the mixing of developer A and developer B. Plus the patch was white, but they tell you to put a thick layer of tan puddy on it which just showed the white patch through the painted puddy that it came with, and it was a big eye sore. Needless to say, this kit and a couple of runs to the Home Depot and Lowes, I was able to get the job done. ... show more

I used Fence Daddy to patch several small holes in my fence. Two were less than an inch in diameter, one was about 3 inches. One was a "corner" hole breaking at a 90 degree angle. First, due to moving and rehabbing our house, I lost the patch part of the kit in between buying it and having time to use it. I contacted the company and they very quickly sent me the patch sections I lost (honestly, I think the dog ate one and my son drew on the the other). The instructions were easy to follow and the product works well and looks good after sanding. In fact, the patch alone is s effective, I was not able to relocate one of the holes I put the patch over before applying the liquid patching material. My suggestion if you are working with smaller holes - let the mixture sit for a bit to think more before applying, using a smaller plastic spackle / putty knife to apply the liquid patch. The one included with my kit was bigger than I needed but would have been better for a wider fence. All in all a very handy product and did exactly what I needed it to do. ... show more
