This is a beautiful dressform. The gold is gorgeous and the body is clean and tidy looking. The base of the top pole does not come with a friction insert so I had to cut out a piece of foam and screw it in between the base, because if you turn the body around more than once it will wiggle loose from the screw. Additionally, be careful about the base because I cut my ankle moving it once. I wish there was a way to spin the body around without undoing its height. These are the only flaws I have with it so far. ... show more

This mannequin is gorgeous - a super upgrade from the one I've been using to stage clothing items for online sales. I love the heavy base for stablity, shiny brass colored accents and high quality fabric. The extra height has been wonderful for longer dresses. It has an adjustable height for your needs. what appears in the picture to be metal components on this are actually more like plastic. however, the mannequin itself appears to be quite well made, and is appropriately sized. I actually was impressed with the quality of the mannequin compared to the stand pieces. works great once assembled.

Slim mannequin, with a smooth fabric cover, and gold colored hardware. Comes in 4 pieces. Fairly easy and straightforward to assemble. Metal parts (except for the gold top cap; parts of that are gold-colored plastic) and a heavy glass base, with a gold mirror finish. All the reflective gold makes it look very fancy and lux! I took off one star because there is a piece missing (one of the wing screws that holds the mannequin body to the pole. There is also something rattling around inside the mannequin body. Maybe it is the missing piece? Although the other wing screw and Phillips head screw can in their own bag, so I am not sure. It seems pretty stable and I will get a lot of use out of it! This looks classy whether you use it for decor or display. Not sure I would use it for dressmaking because it's hard plastic under the thick black fabric and you may prefer a soft underlay. I would not use this in a high traffic area, because it's fairly lightweight and may easily knock over.

This mannequin is definitely a step up from a previous one that I used to use for my clothing business. It has a nice heavy almost canvas like lining on the body and is a nice firm material underneath. I also love that the base is metal and it feels pretty sturdy and heavy on the bottom so it seems like it would be pretty difficult to just knock over. I use her in a small home office though so it may be less stable if it was around the general public. My base did have a very small flaw where the cold metal plate was peeling up on the side but we were able to push it back into place and it doesn't show in my photos anyways so it doesn't bother me too much. There was also a screw that we needed that seems to be inside the body with no way to get it out again. Not too sure how that happened, but we were able to assemble her without that piece just fine. ... show more
