All four of my cats love this cat food and flavor. My cats are finicky and that's an understatement. It's near impossible to get all four cats to like the same food, but they all devour this. It's also my understanding that New Zealand has stricter guidelines for cat food than the USA which makes this even better as far as I am concerned. I also noticed one of my cats had coarse hair that always seemed to get matted who now has soft fur that doesn't get matted anymore after being on this food exclusively for about a month.

Omg, this cat has never eaten anything like he's eating this! 11 yrs of trying everything for sensitive digestion, no grain, wet food, dry food, raw, even another brand of freeze dried, all very expensive, and usually no luck. We have had some luck with one brand (RC)of dry for sensitive digestion, but always hard to get him back on it after one of his vomiting spells. We received this today, and this is his second meal, small to start of course, but he's never wanted seconds on anything, ever!! If you have a very fussy eater, try this, it's a winner!

Picky male ginger 15 lbs. (a few lbs over but losing slowly) , 2.6 yrs... Rescue who ate slugs, birds, bugs and squirrels but won’t eat most canned food except: Royal Canine, fancy feast gravy (never pates), and maybe he’ll eat some of the fancier/boutique type cuz I’ve bought all/any with a lot wasted. I know how to entice or introduce a new food and he turned his head and body from Tiki, Nulo, Wellness, Weruva, Dave’s, etc...He likes no pates. I had little option so started sum raw After switching the diet to add raw, he liked Stella n chewy but without an enzyme he doesn’t process too well. He Likes: Primal pork raw n that’s it for raw (same with Rad Cat pork) meaning he ate it readily and without trotting away after he’s been meowing for food (he can be excited for food time and hungry but if he doesn’t like it- he will not eat it and walks off). we still do can and primal freeze dried if it’s pork or the beef n salmon but tried this brand expecting it to be a no go but with a tiny nudge to his lips (god forbid he try a new food) he ate a small amount and some dry pieces. Today at dinner he ate eagerly so it’s part of the rotation. I’ve found an enzyme for hairballs with amylase and protase etc. to be useful with freeze dried for him. His hair is short but downy ginger and he vomited after awhile on Stella n chewy and hacked a line of hair so I don’t think it’s Their product per se, I just feel better with a bit of enzyme with freeze dried products HeAte !! This Will Re-buy!! Want to try a no fish one soon. Nice ingredients yet I believe in some grain which some Royal Canine (yep it’s a sure buy which I’m not thrilled but) packets a few days takes care of and I hear the Primal is high in minerals that a cat doesn’t need (?)... I add a good amount of very warm water to this and it’s easy to mix and makes a gravy instead of watery.

I guess my cat feels about freeze dried food the way we humans feel about freeze dried food... She wouldn't good near it. Even when she was at her hungriest - first thing in the morning - she wouldn't touch it. I tried mixing in her regular food to trick her. She ate her regular food off the top and left the water soaked, freeze-dried pellets floating at the bottom. My cat eats just about everything - lettuce, yeasty bread, pasta... I really wanted her to like this type of raw food because I don't look forward to buying a meat grinder and making raw food by hand, but it looks like I going to have to. It was a good idea in theory, but until cats are hurled into outer space with nothing else to eat, like the astronauts, I don't think they're going to be touching this stuff. The positives are that it smells like real food and I'm certain it's would be good for her because of the fresh ingredients.

Pros: My Oliver is addicted to this. I was weary of changing his food and switching to raw freeze dried, but now Oliver throws up less. He has had stomach issues prior because he eats too fast even with food puzzler. When I started using this product, I would sprinkle inside his food puzzler with other food and my smart cat figured out how to use his paw to pick the Natural Feline out of his puzzler. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it. Now, when amazon delivers the Natural feline, he smells it from the box. He even refuses to eat his Royal canine digest, at times, which I supplement with this. Oliver has also gained and maintained his weight with this addition. This is the only food treat that has enabled me to trim his nails because it keeps him distracted, which is a plus. Cons: Yes, it does crumble easily. Half of the bag was crumbs. I did not care though because I just measure apropriately and Oliver still ate it and did not throw up a bit even though he still ate it quickly. The bigger bag is less crumbs. Only other con is half the bag is filled. Come on people. I do not like paying for air. I purchased both sizes small and large. Large bag was half full.... I am going to try another brand just to see if I can get more for the price and to see if Oliver likes it as much. Otherwise I will be sticking with this.

This food is great. My finicky female feline loves a little of this crumbled over anything. Or with a little water mixed in to crumbles. She can’t eat much of variety so I really appreciate a food she loves. My only complaint is Amazons shopping packed it with an item that had a horrific scent and left that on the cat food bag as well. Ugh. Who does that?? My cat doesn’t want to smell sandalwood and sachets with lamb and salmon.

Bear loves it! Mr. Dry Food Only says yum. I like it because it doesn't smell and I can portion out the amount he will eat at one time. No waste. And it is high in protein and good for him, but don't tell him. We have been feeding this for about a month. We notice an increase in his energy level.
