I purchased this item to use on my 1997 Honda CR-V 2.0 and the only thing that fit was the seal itself. The other pieces didn’t even come close to fitting. I ended up using silicone for the gasket material. Had I have known this i would have simply purchased the seal itself.

    • Fixed my seal that was pissing oil all over my driveway
I had read of people having a worse leak after trying to fix the main seal themselves but my leak was gone after installation. Pretty easy fix, the "difficult" part is getting the transmission out, but it's a Honda so if you work on cars you can have it out in 2-3 hours depending on how fast you work ... show more

I only used the crank seal, the other gaskets were not needed. Seems to have stopped the leak.

The seal works great, none of the paper gaskets fit the D16y7 block tho cuz the top screws are actually offset a bit

    • It’s to small and my car still leaks oil
Rear main seal but it’s to small so I wasted $600 getting it put in and it still leases oil from the rear main seal.
