Celestron CGX-L 11-Inch Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) Telescope

The Celestron CGX-L 1100 Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) is a wide- field astroimaging system with an 11-inch f/2.2 optical design that captures deep-sky images quickly. It uses 4-element rare-earth glass optics for accurate color and a 43.3mm image circle for large-format cameras. The CGX-L equatorial mount supports up to 75 lbs and features 144mm worm wheels, belt- drive motors, home and limit sensors, and internal cable management for stable, precise operation. The Ultra-Stable Focus System minimizes image shift, while a 12V MagLev fan improves cooling. It includes dual CGE dovetail bars, camera adapters, and supports optional Focus Motor and WiFi modules, providing a complete and efficient astroimaging setup.11-inch f/2.2 RASA Optical SystemProvides a large 279mm aperture with an ultra-fast f/2.2 focal ratio, allowing shorter exposure times and efficient light collection for deep-sky imaging.4-Element Rare-Earth Glass OpticsDelivers sharp, high- contrast images with reduced chromatic aberration, coma, and field curvature.43.3mm Optimized Image CircleMaintains pinpoint stars across large imaging sensors, supporting up to 52mm diagonals with minimal performance loss at the edges.Ultra-Stable Focus System (USFS)Minimizes image shift and mirror flop during focusing, ensuring stable and consistent focus across different sky positions.12V MagLev Cooling FanSpeeds up optical tube cooldown and enhances airflow while keeping dust out through filtered vents.CGX-L Computerized Equatorial MountBuilt for heavy-duty performance, supporting up to 75 lbs of equipment. Features larger worm wheels, stronger motors, and improved stability for smooth tracking.
