The mobile we purchased for my daughter came with a manual wind-up motor/music box. It was not to my liking because it only lasted about 30 seconds and only played the one tune. So off to Amazon to find what I wanted: a battery operated mobile turner with sleep timer and optional music. Pros: It turns and shuts off automatically after an hour. I put a rechargeable AA once and haven't had to replace it yet. It plays music, but I can switch it to music only or turning only modes if I want. Cons: As others have said, it plays about 10-20 seconds of each song before jumping to the next. The volume control is pretty minimal. It's lowest setting is a little louder than I'd like for sleeping, and the loudest isn't all that loud. Probably more expensive than it should be. Considering I didn't buy it for the music, I'm satisfied enough with the balance. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The original spinner that came with the mobile stopped working after 3 seconds, which was very frustrating, and it was brand new! I bought this spinner and it works great- I especially love that it is compatible with Disney mobiles. It plays various melodies (including one or two Christmas tunes, but that doesn't bother me since I'm not sitting there listening to it and a baby doesn't care what kind of tunes are playing) which is more than the original Disney mobile played. Side note: Disney mobiles don't play Disney tunes, although they should😒. Anyway, I love it and I'm glad I bought it!! ... show more

Seems sturdy so far although the mobile I got isn’t very heavy. The music and volume work just fine. Simple to use. But it is SO STIFF. I would like to be able to rotate more easily to move the mobile around. But the plastic is stiff. Once it’s in place it’s hard to move.

The media could not be loaded. I use this mobile motor every night to put my son to sleep. The music really soothes him and there are different sounds to choose from. It also rotates to add a crib mobile. I like how the music shuts off after 30 minutes. This is battery-powered, so that helps not drain the battery quickly.     • Stopped working correctly only used it for a week.

I was hoping to use this to replace the one that came with my mobile but it stopped working properly after using it less then 2 weeks. New batteries were initially put in... and a week later stopped working. Put new batteries in.. worked but then not working correctly. HAVE to hit the power button a bunch of times for it to turn on and then it only spins for like a minute or so. Also the music plays very very fast I believe generally. Only plays song intros basically and plays even Christmas song. Weird array or short intros. I would like a new one sent to me or a refund please, and I will change my review based on customer service! Thanks! ... show more
