It was easier to assemble than I thought so it took me a couple of years. Finally did it in January of this year 2026 now is February 19, 2026 and this thing is falling apart at the scenes the wood is splitting.

Ok putting together was tedious and took 1 hour for each chair but not unachievable. Just separate pieces in order and flow with directions. You will need a little skill at handy work though and definitely requires a drill. Ok I sanded, filled screw holes with wood filler, preconditioned, tried to stain but it was a no go. So I had to use word paint. That took some time and painters tape but I got what I wanted. No I can’t speak to long term yet and durability of chairs but they seem great. I also added polyurethane as a top coat to seal everything. I love it!!! My lazy Sundays evenings in Savannah is in full affect. ... show more

    • Use a drill!

If you are not handy or good at puzzles, have someone help you put these together! Most of my pieces were unlabeled but I was able to figure out what was what looking at the directions. So happy I bought these! They look great and fold up nicely. A couple things: if you’re going to leave them outside, treat the wood. I don’t think it’s treated. Use a power drill! It goes a lot faster and a few of the holes don’t line up when you start putting it together, so it just goes a lot easier. That said, the wood is soft so if you’re using a drill be careful not to over tighten the screws because the wood will split pretty easily. I bought the natural wood option. These look nothing like the picture but I love them! They have a ton of variation in color and wood grain and are very nice looking. ... show more

I like this product was easy to install, and the color was what I was wanting. It has held up to the weather well. It does fold up is a nice feature but it is not very sturdy to sit in and wobbles despite securing that all parts were installed properly.

Quality chair. Well made. Downside: Chairs can be aggravating when unfolding. They tend to get "locked" in the folded position. They are not sealed. Should brush on some UV urethane if left outdoors.

Very poor quality wood. Very cheaply made. Took 1.5 hours to put one chair together. I put the first one together and found no hardware to put the second one together. No problem, I’ll just call to get the hardware right!? After all their customer service states they do everything possible to make their customers happy! Wrong! First of all she stated that they did not have the hardware so I asked what I could do as I already had one chair together. She said she could give me a partial credit of the amount of the shipping charges or a return label. Her attitude was less than stellar so I said “fine, I’ll take the damn thing apart and send it all back”. She said it was impolite for me to curse at her and she was offended. OMG if she only knew what I was REALLY wanting to say!!!! So I apologized and stated I didn’t consider that cursing at her but exhibiting my frustration over the whole event. If someone does not send you a complete product, why do you have to pay shipping charges in the first place. So in essence, I will have no product and owe them $45 in shipping charges. I will NEVER do business with this company again! I am also very sick and tired of everyone being offended be simply everything. Grow up! If you want to know what good customer service looks like call Chewey. Update- thanks to the amazing Amazon customer service I received a 100% refund including the shipping! The media could not be loaded. Bought on may1 2023 it is now April 16, 2024. The chairs are not worth the money . The wood has split on 2 out of the 4 i have. They are constantly needing to be tightened. People are afraid to set on them. May 2023 review-Over all they are cute as decoration just don't use them. The wood is poor quality. They were not hard to assumable but thank goodness I am a handy person. You MUST have a drill for this project. ... show more
