This shelf fit the interior of one of our closets perfectly, it is very easy to assemble. It’s durable, it looks good, the size is exactly what I needed. I have at least 20 of these size wire shelving and five of them are these black ones. Wish they ALL were! This one is as strong and durable as the others but much lighter. I didn’t need ones that could take 1000 lbs per shelf, it turns out. Regardless, I can put any of these shelves together in 30 mins or less by myself with a step ladder. (With 20+ I kinda have the knack for it.) The casters are really good quality and lock very well. I cut the box to make shelf mats because any container that isn’t totally flat will catch on the wires. I store everything you can imagine on them and can hang all kinds of things from the wires. There are loads of different kinds of hook accessories too, some that go on the vertical bars. I had to move and ended up with most of the “stuff” as the family “stuff-keeper.” Apart from furniture and big boxes and other things that movers took care of, I packed everything I could into labeled plastic containers and filled the shelves, rolled them onto a rented moving truck, and rolled them off and into the garage of my rental house. Voila! Done and done! I added more units as I unpacked other things and use them for storage and overflow to conserve space. I even have one in a bedroom closet. They helped me organize stuff for culling once I moved and are ready for the next stop, whenever and wherever that may be. Meantime, they are easy to move around and the shelves are readily readjusted as needed. One of them is split, each built only half up as “pit stop and work top surfaces” with boards across the tops. I got extra casters for one of them. HIGHLY recommend, especially at this price, which was about $90 with a deal. ... show more

I needed this shelving unit to organize my storage unit. It was the exact size I needed that fit into the space available. It was really simple to assemble (only because I have put together so many of these in my life time it's the same instructions and pieces - just different sizes). This shelf is 82" tall, 48" wide, 14" deep, and came with 6 shelves. These shelves are super functional as you can adjust the height to fit your needs. I used 5 shelves, and it's tall enough that you could fit 8 black and yellow Costco bins on 4 shelves and light items on the very top shelf. I gave it 4 stars because the box was badly damaged, but it was available to be delivered quickly, was on the higher need for my price range, and was the right dimensions I needed. Even though the box was really damaged, none of the pieces were missing. One of the shelves was really damaged and bent on two of the sides. I did not end up needing the damaged shelf, but want others to be aware. The instructions that were very brief, and luckily I had previous experience assembling these shelves where I didn't need them. The zip ties holding everything together had been cut prior to me receiving this and that might explain why one of the shelves were damaged. It did get delivered on time. I really like these kinds of shelves, in total between my home and storage I have 11 in different sizes. They have really come in handy. They aren't terrible to clean, I just use Lysol wipes and/or microfiber cloth and cleaner. If you get really efficient in cleaning I bet you can clean it fast and not have to go over the wires multiple times. I don't anchor my shelves to the wall (it did come with wall anchors), so I keep really heavy items on the very bottom shelf and that's been working really well for me. I've purchased several sets of these shelves over multiple years. Easy to put together. Like how you can adjust shelf height easily during assembly. Ones in unheated garage are 4+ years old now and holding on strong with no rust. One set had minor bending on one shelf, but not enough to annoy me.
