This desk was very easy to set up. I put together other furniture in the past which was way more complicated than this. I was surprised of how easy this was. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Using a metal frame made assembly even easier as it was very light and easy to maneuver. All the holes came pre-drilled with quality threaded fasteners. As you could see each part was individually wrapped. The provided Allen wrench made it easy to assemble. However I preferred using my ratcheting screwdriver tool and only used the Allen key to snug everything up. Note: directions say not to fully tighten during assembly. Therefore after assembly I used Allen to snug everything The only problem I had with it was there was some shipping damage. After putting the desk together I emailed the company late Friday evening and received a response back within an hour. I expected not to hear back for several days and when I read their response I was in disbelief that they responded so quickly. Yes the response was even a real person and not an auto generated email. I was pleasantly surprised with the response that I received. The company fully stands behind their product and with no hassling told me they would be shipping me a replacement. I have since ordered a bookcase from them to go with my new desk. As you could see in the photos there’s plenty room for two monitors. ... show more

The instructions were so clear and easy to follow. The materials seem a good sturdy quality. It’s serving as my work and gaming desk holding 4 monitors and a laptop. My only complaint and reason for reducing the rating to 4 is due to the depth of the desk. With my larger monitors, I have to sit a little farther away so with this desk it gets a little uncomfortable at times having to work with my keyboard right on the edge so my face isn’t so close to the screens. This also means the shelf underneath is also pretty small and can only fit smaller books and items. But overall, I love the quality of the desk for the cost. ... show more

The desk is sturdy and good looking. I appreciated the extra hardware in the bag in case you lose a piece. The allen wrench key has a ball end as well, which helps to secure the screws at an angle. Would recommed to anyone looking for something sturdy.

This is the third product we've purchased from Fatorri, and once-again - exceptional quality, beautiful design and study construction. This time, though - we had another experience as well. One portion of the desk surface, when we unpackaged it, was chipped. We contacted customer service at Fatorri, with a short email and a couple of photos... and within hours (HOURS) we were contacted, and a new desktop was shipped to us directly. For free, of course. And beyond that, their customer support team was in regular touch with us to make sure we were satisfied and happy. And so, I now have an even HIGHER opinion of this company! Easy to assemble. Plenty of room for me to have a designated gaming space and work space. I like the underneath storage, especially the long end where you can put books. Good construction. Good value for money.

Ok Amazon, you are going to owe me for this one. To start off, I LOVE MY NEW FATORRI L SHAPED DESK!! I was looking for something very attractive but simple. Didn’t want to spend the money on a height adjustable. This desk caught my eye and I ordered it. I’m a furniture engineer and have to think about assembly when I design something. This desk was really easy to put together and if you take it slow and lay everything out you will find it to be a fun and short job. After it’s together it’s both sturdy and easy to move and reposition. I love the book rack underneath. The mesh modesty panel in front is very cool and attractive and the shelves on the end are a nice touch. The color of the wood tops is beautiful (I got the Rustic Oak) and they are really well made. But I wanted some extra features added to my desk (that’s the engineer in me) so I ordered a few things which I will include Amazon info if you like them. I got a NYCCO, 23 inch wide pencil drawer to mount under the top. Easy to install and works great. I purchased a BUBM 35 x 17 writing mat, perfect! I needed a couple of lights so got a monitor light (Lofter-pro) and desk lamp (Poukaran LED). Love them both. Also wanted a small printer stand so you see my KKL stand in the back. The Gorilla, 36 x 48 mat is the only floor mat I would buy as it’s indestructible. But here is the fun part and where I really brag up Nancy at Fatorri Customer service. I wanted a side table so I ordered a couple fold down brackets from Amazon, they were the 14 inch, black folding brackets from Hoffen. I then wrote Fatorri about getting a matching shelf to mount on the brackets. Was thinking to just get another one of the end shelves and make that work. When Nancy got back to me the same day we discussed that shelf and she offered to make me a shelf the same thickness as the top so it matched. Believe it or not I got that shelf delivered in under a week. It looks beautiful. I added a 3M Adjustable Copy Holder (you guessed it, from Amazon) and my office is all set up. Love my experience with Fatorri and especially Nancy and all the accessories I got from Amazon. Great experience all the way around. ... show more
