Good quality materials—no flimsy veneers or cheap-feeling particle wood. The finish on the metal supports is even and pleasant to the eye. All of the assembly instructions were clear, the parts clearly labeled, and nothing came damaged or missing. Between my husband and I, we were able to assemble it in about 20 minutes (not counting the time spent trying to find a good wall stud so we could screw in the safety ties). Cupboard space in our kitchen is limited, so I bought this shelf to catch some "overhang" from our regular pantry. It happily holds light stuff (cereal, tea, literal marshmallows...) and heavy stuff (boxes of soda, jarred pasta/grains, bottles of vinegar and olive oil...); everything else we use more frequently than our canned goods and non-perishables. I bought this shelf specifically to match two shorter book shelves that we have in the house, and I even picked up a second to put in our living room (for books, dog treats, and boxes and boxes of puzzles and board games). I expect to be able to move these shelves (and their shorter companions) to my home office when we inevitably move house again. Bookshelf is very easy to assemble, probably took about 20 minutes. It looks great and has adjustable knobs on the bottom that make it easy to level. When assembling, I noticed one of my support bars had a stripped thread on the inside, but I emailed customer support and they responded within a few hours. There was not enough hardware to put the L shape table together I had to buy some of the hardware. Could not find it all it was a mess. I read about that in one of the reviews.

I cannot say enough good things about this book shelf. It was easy to assemble and very study. They are straps enclosed to attach the shelf to the wall which ensures that the shelf will not tip over. The description states that each shelf will hold 130 pounds. Although this has not been tested, I have loaded up the shelves and all is well. And it is a real bargain. The price for this excellent product is so reasonable - almost unbelievable and be sure to clip the coupon for further savings.
