Put this up about 6 months ago, started noticing it bowing out in the middle. Took it off the wall to see if I could figure out what was going on and as soon as I got it off the wall the bottom completely snapped off. Poor quality not real wood.

Seems a bit flimsy - the base with the chalk holder does not attach snugly to the wall piece, I'm thinking an additional bracket will be required under the base, especially if any downward pressure is applied. I ended up just using the base on a table near the pool table to hold the chalk.. Looks pretty nice, holds the chalk cone well. ... show more
