Had a hard time finding a dishrack that was rectangular, large and drained on the short side. The drip tray is stiff enough to lift and tilt to help drain water that doesn't run off by itself. Easy to clean and sturdy. The glass/cupholders are spaced far enough apart to put pint classes and large cups side-by-side but they don't hold glasses very tight and it can't be adjusted. The utensil holder is a bit small but other than it is quality product. I kept the utensil holder from my old dishrack and use it alongside the one that came with the Farberware dishrack. I’ve been searching for a replacement for my 10-year-old Rubbermaid vinyl-coated dish rack- which can no longer be found in stores. Most of what’s out there are cheap plastic racks or stainless steel (which I detest because they’re noisy and eventually rust). This Farberware set is the closest I’ve found. Attractive enough to remain on my counter (we use it daily), sturdy enough to hold nearly all my dishes from the day in a way that will allow them to dry overnight. The only thing I’m unsure about is that the coating on the metal rack is much thinner than the vinyl coating on the classic old-style racks- I doubt it will hold up for several years let alone ten. But I do like that it can fit 14 full size dinner plates even alongside the flatware caddy! Pros: * Attractive, Sturdy, Big and Functional! * Extra capacity utensil caddy with dividers Cons; * Protective coating on the metal seems very light and not particularly durable * Drainboard must be oriented with a shorter end toward the sink, so it takes up a few inches more of precious counter space if you have a small kitchen ... show more

Love everything about this drain board, the lift on the back does a great job at drawing the water, use to use a piece of wood on the back for that purpose and still didn’t do a good job, nice and roomy, cost a little more but well worth it

This product is good overall. It is the perfect size for our household. It is very sturdy and fits great on our countertop. We do not use the plastic drainer that fits underneath. We did try it but we prefer the dish pads that come in different colors and styles. We are on our second one because after 2 plus years it did start to rust. This is a great dish rack. It's simple and efficient in drying dishes. I like the reinforced bottom, so there is no sagging in the center. The material is made so it doesn't stain. Just a little soap and water and it looks like new. Wish I had purchases this one earlier, instead of the flimsy store bought one. ... show more

Why is it so hard to find a decent dish drainer that actually drains the water? After researching for a couple of months I bought this one. I ordered red but it’s more of a burgundy color. Sigh. As you can see, any glasses or cups placed on the cup holder things will drain directly onto your counter, rather than into the drainer. Sigh. So I put a towel underneath it. Overall, this drainer appears to drain towards the sink, although the incline is very slight. I just didn’t want to have to stuff a wadded up towel underneath it because it makes it less stable. The utensil holders only have small holes at the bottom so I’m not sure how well they will drain, but the bottom of the utensil holder has a slight incline to help drain water, and it is very easily repositioned. The utensil holder doesn’t have a great “grip” to the dish drainer. This is a good size drainer and will hold several plates, and cups, just keep a towel underneath it. It’s still new so I will update this review as needed. This is used in our seasonal rental property so it will not get much wear and tear. For the price it had better last 4-5 years.... here’s hoping. ... show more
