This tool is great for fine exterior detailing of your car. I have 2 cars, each with spots of swirls or scratches on exterior panels and where shoes hit the paint getting in/out of the cars. I polish and wax my cars, but haven't done any polishing into the paint yet with any power tools. This was my first time using power and I'm really happy with the results. For spot waxing/buffing, this tool is perfect. It comes with varying discs with different grits, either to dig in and remove clear coat imperfections or to add polish and wax. I've just gotten started using the tool, but am really happy so far and highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this! Yes I bought it for my car, but, I thought there was so much pads I could use it for other things! It worked great to polish my flat top! Multiple strengths, easy to hold and it comes in a awesome case! Bravo!

Solid build, quality accessories. But lacks sufficient power to remove 2000, 3000 grit sanding. It’s perfect to remove light clear paint scratches.

I am somewhat of a fan of the Fanttik brand as I own several items from them, ranging from electric screwdrivers to laser levels and even chainsaws, and I have had nothing but good luck with all of them. When this polishing tool became available, I jumped on it right away to add to my detailing arsenal. My daughter and I have been planning to detail her car once the weather warms up, and this tool is going to be useful for both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. The kit comes in a nice, semi-rigid grey case that keeps everything organized. As with my other tools from this brand, the build quality has a premium feel to it. It does not feel like a cheap plastic toy. It has some weight and substance. It comes with a great little assortment of attachments, including various foam pads for polishing, a brush attachment for cleaning, and sanding discs. One specific thing to note is the sanding capability. As you can see in my photos, it includes high-grit options like P2000, P3000, and P5000. However, you have to be careful using this because it is a direct rotary tool, not a random orbital device. This means you risk heat buildup and over-sanding or over-polishing if you stay in one spot too long or apply too much pressure. It is not a huge issue if you use it properly and pay attention, but it is something to be aware of to avoid damaging your paint or clear coat. Since it is currently too cold for a full vehicle wash and detail, I put it through a bench test to check the endurance. I set it up in a soft clamp and just let it run to see how long it would last. I was really impressed as it took about an hour to finally die. For a tool of this size, that is pretty awesome runtime. It charges via a standard USB-C cable, which is convenient for keeping it topped up. It charges up quick enough, so you could even spot charge it while using it, too. This isn't going to be something you would polish or wax an entire vehicle with, but I can see using it a lot during a cleaning or detailing job. In all, considering the quality, the nice storage case, and the battery capacity, this is a good value in my opinion. I know it might seem expensive for such a small tool, but the value is there. For me, this is a "buy once, cry once" scenario. It is a small investment up front, but it will last you and will continually come in handy for detailing or fixing rubs and scratches. For my family, this will get a lot of use since we have quite a few cars to maintain. Pros: High quality build with a premium feel consistent with the brand. Impressive battery life lasted about an hour during continuous run testing. Includes a nice semi-rigid storage case to keep parts organized. versatile assortment of attachments including brushes, foam pads, and sanding discs. USB-C charging makes it easy to power up anywhere. Cons: Not a random orbital action so care must be taken to avoid heat buildup on paint. Price point is higher than some entry-level options.

Works okay. Pad fell off one of the Velcro pieces after a few min of use. Battery life is lacking and brush slows way down as battery level falls. Slow to charge back up.
