The plates and bowls were ordered in the light grey color. Upon receipt all items had black pinhole marks throughout the product making them appear randomly spotted. Another negative was the weight of the items. They were much heavier than I hoped but that's on me.

These plates are fantastic and they are HUGE! I got these as a set with the matching bowls and mugs and they are gorgeous. They are very sturdy, easy to clean, and have a lovely matte finish. If portion control is what you’re going for then you may want to look for something different because these plates are massive. I have a small countertop dishwasher and they barely fit. Still, I love these plates!

Have been updating my dishes and the charcoal set came with 4 of these, so ordered the box of 6, as most used plate in house. As heavier and a slight bit larger than our old "salad" plates, are very useful, from sandwiches to small meals to sushi, everyone grabs this plate. The quality is superior imo to most, and have added the Aegean style of this brand to give some flair to the more basic charcoal. Price is only reason for not full 5 star. Am slowly buying up when on sale, but think worth it!

Lovely set of dishes by a company that is only four years old, but turning out some extremely high quality wares that are both dishwasher and microwave safe, and also using glazes free of lead, cadmium and other nasty carcinogenic toxins. These plates, I ordered the 10.5” model with smooth sides, feel heavy and of higher “restaurant” quality. The speckle pattern dots are hand painted on the dish and add a nice touch to an already lovely plate. See how nice they look on my table in a couple of different settings. Do you like them? The light gray goes with everything, and can really dress up your table and add some class to dinner…even if you are all fighting throughout the meal like we do. Just kidding. Not. Anyway, the dishes are not cheap, but are well worth the price when you consider the craftsmanship and how nice and modern they look. I really love them, and would buy anything this company makes. I will definitely be back soon for more. Thumbs way up on these Famiware Dinner Plates.

These are excellent plates! A really, really nice set! That works well with other table settings or encourages you to get other items from this manufacture! Pros: 1. Quality! These are thick (but refined) substantive dinner plates. None of that super thin, breaks when you look at it plates here! 2. They are both microwaveable and dishwasher safe 3. The styling is simple yet elegant 4. Can't beat the price for high quality hand-made dinnerware Cons: 1. This set consists solely of plates but that was clearly stated in the description, so this is really just a statement of the obvious. Excellent set of plates at an excellent price!
