    • Buy it if you’re a weight lifter! Plates weigh heavy

This purchase was my mistake! The plates weigh about a pound each! No kiddding! And they weigh more with food on them! As if that wasn’t bad enough, the plates don’t stack aligned! So they slide when you’re trying to hold them while walking! Don’t buy unless you quit your gym!!!!

These are a really nice set of stone style plates. These plates are pretty heavy, and I believe if they were to fall, they would probably break. The one thing that I really don't like about them is that the lips on the sides are very small and thin. If you have a lot on your plate, food can definitely spill over the sides. This plate set feels classy and exceptional in quality. Perfect for a nice dinner and the little black splatters are not uniform which adds a nice touch of individuality to each plate. The only downside is that using knives and forks harshly on these plates can easily leave little gray streak marks so eat with care when serving on stoneware. ... show more

These plates are fantastic and they are HUGE! I got these as a set with the matching bowls and mugs and they are gorgeous. They are very sturdy, easy to clean, and have a lovely matte finish. If portion control is what you’re going for then you may want to look for something different because these plates are massive. I have a small countertop dishwasher and they barely fit.
