Works Ok, but I had to shim mine in the lathe in order to get the cutter on the lathe center line. The blade is firmly held, but the design holds the blade at the top of the holder, so it’s hard to get the cutting edge on the lathe center line. I got mine to work by shimming the back of the parting tool holder at the rear of the tool post holder, so the parting tool was tipped down slightly.     • Sharpen the blade before using it, looked ok but needed more relif angle.
works good for cutting cooling fins and parting off. Still have not broken a blade in aluminum and I am fairly aggressive with the feeds.

You need to use these at a slow speed. I used it on my 7x14 lathe and when used right and with lubricant it works great. Have seen people try to part to fast and burn these up.

It never cut anything that I've tried to use this on. It just shatters the blade. The cutters are far to narrow and far to brittle.
