I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the Leuxe Facial Hair Remover because of how affordable it is—but wow, it completely exceeded my expectations! I’ve used the Flawless hair remover before, and while it was decent, this one performs way better for a fraction of the price. It removes peach fuzz and fine hair super smoothly, especially on my upper lip and chin. The built-in LED light is surprisingly helpful—it catches all those little hairs I’d usually miss. Although I received this product almost 2 months ago, I have waited to write a review until I used it a couple of times. Every time I use this product, I am amazed at what it does and wonder why I waited so long to order one. I went to an electrolysis from the age of 14 to 21 for hair on my cheeks, chin and upper lip. From the age of 21 until I went through menopause, I had no problem. After going through menopause, the hair on my legs diminished as well as I noticed less on my arms; however, hair was, again, growing on my face (chin, upper lip, under the bottom lip and some cheek hairs). I checked into laser treatments, however, I was told that it's only good for dark hairs and, although I did have dark hairs, I also had light (gray) hairs and the cost was expensive. So, I tried electrolysis again, which was painful and, although it killed the root of the hair, hair would appear in other spots on my face and chin and it was expensive as well. I used tweezers, but this took a long time and I didn't get all the hairs. I tried the hair remover spring, which worked to some degree, but you could feel the pulling sensation - not pain, but a twinge. I also tried the battery operated tweezers (Wizzit and Emoji) and these worked quite well, however there was still the "twinge." I tried the cream hair remover but could not stand the smell and I tried the wax, but that hurt. After using the battery operated tweezers and/or spring, the hair would grow back within a couple of days, although I could go a week sometimes. So, I decided to check out additional hair removal products on Amazon and, after reading all the reviews for this product, I decided to try it...I had nothing to lose (except hair) and everything to gain. I wish I had ordered this a long time ago. THIS WORKS!! NO PAIN....NONE....NADA....NIL...and it removes the hair in places that the other products did not (I always had tiny hairs underneath my bottom lip and nothing would remove them). Also, I noticed that the hair does not grow back as quickly as when I used the other products. I am so thrilled with this product. No matter how old you are, it's an embarrassment to have hair growing out of your face. I would give this product 10 stars. Since purchasing this product the end of August 2019 (it is now October 2019), I have used it approximately 4 times and it's great, plus it's very quiet - not like the battery operated "tweezers," which sounded just like an electric shaver. Thank you for making a product that really works.

***Picture for size comparison*** I'm so embarrassed to admit my problem. I've dealt with facial hair on my chin since 11th grade and it's just gotten worse. I used to shave and then I plucked, then shaved and plucked. It's very much damaged my skin and left scars on my fair, sensitive skin. I didn't think this would really do much and I was scared it would leave stray hairs. I'm VERY self conscious about my chin. It's a daily struggle. I decided one day to give it a try and I really like it! I do make sure to have a little water on my face so it glide's easily. I'm not actually sure if it's waterproof to be honest but so far three months in, no issues. It really does get a close shave if you press hard enough and it's easy to use on the fine hairs on my upper lip and face. It's kind of freed me from the plucking, which is no easy feat! I feel like plucking has damaged my skin so anything that gets me to pluck less is great! Also, because it's girly looking it's less embarrassing for me. My son recently asked about it and I just said that it's a women's shaver and he just shrugged and said, "Oh, okay." Most women have fine hair on their face and now it's totally fine to get rid of it so that's my guise I guess. I know I shouldn't be ashamed but I am. This little thing makes me feel better about myself and I can do it quickly, instead of feeling like a man with shaving cream all over my face and being scared someone will barge in the bathroom and see. It's also very portable, which is nice. The only thing that is annoying is that the battery pack comes off easily when you're trying to turn the device off, causing the batteries to fall in the ground. You just have to be aware of this and turn it off very carefully. Anyhow, try it!

As a female with a hairy upper lip at times, yes this was much needed! I normally pluck my upper lip and lower lip with tweezers and very rarely get them waxed. Waxing cost too much money and I become worried about pulling at my skin too much and plucking took a decent amount of time to get all the hairs. I told myself this year I wanted to find a way that's quicker and easier for me. That's when I came across this product. After reading other reviews, I decided to spend my Christmas gift card money on this. It's pretty easy to use, and works pretty darn good! My skin is pretty sensitive at times and this doesn't break me out as waxing can. It gets pretty much most of the hairs (I have a mix of light/thin and thicker lip hair). Might miss a hair or two but that's an easy fix with a quick pluck! Overall, I would say yes this is something needed if you want a faster, easier way to get a smooth, clear upper and bottom lip. This will cut down so much time in my morning routine and get me out the door faster without worry if I missed a few pieces of hair on my lip. The customer service, at least the part I dealt with, was AMAZING! Very nice folks! Thank you so much!
