- [ SEWING KEY TIPS ] Always Pre-Wash any fabric before sewing. Use a ballpoint needle or stretch needle as this will prevent skipped stitches. You can stretch stitch the fabric, so your seams move when the fabric stretches to prevent broken threads

I literally just got this in the mail but had to run and leave a review because I was so pleased with it! I got a green 2 yard precut on sale for less than $10! Wonderful price for the quality of fabric I received. I haven't washed or sewn anything up with it yet, but I can tell it is a good value. You never know ordering online what color or stretch you'll get which is partly why I'm so happy with this purchase. The green is a gorgeous kelly green! It was difficult to capture the true color, but the picture in the listing that has the green fabric roll on the top of the fabric pile is pretty accurate. The fabric is soft, light/ medium weight and good 4-way stretch and recovery. It will work well for most any cotton spandex patten you have in mind. I'm definitely coming back to order more colors when they're on sale!

I bought the fabric to replace the binding on a favorite tee shirt. I had difficulty finding a small package of binding, like seam binding in 3 yard packages, so I bought the smallest quantity of this fabric and cut a 2" strip. It worked up great. It sewed up beautifully and I am very happy with the result.

I recently lost a huge amount of weight leaving me w a pendulous belly that gets very sweaty underneath. When it gets sweaty, no matter how many times a day I dry it, powder it, cover w deodorant, the crease gets sore and often smelly even when I bathe twice daily and dry w my hair dryer. This super soft and absorbent t-shirt fabric, cut across the width of the fabric in 2” strips is a perfect solution. The fabric doesn’t fray but instead rolls up on itself into mini elastic tubes that can be cut to desired length. Once tucked up under the crease, problem is solved comfortably and invisibly all day long. No more heat rash or irritation for me. I love the stuff. I bought 2 yards and will have clean strips for a month without washing.

Arrived quickly. I've been using my shirts to make ties for masks, but decided to get some actual fabric with the same blend as I am running out of the particular shirt. Testing a small 1" strip piece to see how it reacts, it hardly frays while curling into perfect strings for the masks. Though I'm not using it for cloths now, it's something I'll definitly consider buying in the future when my skills have improved enough to feel confident making one (maybe even to replace the shirts I had to sacrifice).

Item description says width is 58/60", it is really 38" if I'm being generous. Fabric doesn't have much stretch and even after washing it's still rough. Pretty low quality overall and I won't order again. I'll stick with the local fabric store for better quality at the same price, or cheaper.
