This is a beautiful piece of fabric for the price. It's soft and has a nice amount of stretch, so I can imagine someone who knows what they're doing (not me) could make an infinite number of items with this fabric. I didn't realize this fabric has some little sparkly bits in it and, of course, they transfer onto your hands and clothing. My frustration with poorly-made items never ends. If you want to include something sparkly, can you make sure it doesn't come off? That's a great way of ruining perfectly good fabric.

I got this fabric for my wife in Royal Blue. It is a beautiful piece of cloth that stretches quite a bit. It is not actually velvet but has a velvety feel to it. My wife, who has quite a bit of sewing experience, says it is as easy to work with as most stretchy fabrics, but unlike materials that do not stretch too much, it is more challenging to work with. The color is beautiful and matches the product photos. The product description would be accurate if it said it was a velvety or velvet-like material, but it is inaccurate to say it is velvet. The workmanship is good, and the edges are even. It arrived quickly and without any issues. I would get this again.

I love this fabric it is a lovely royal blue velvet. I received the 1 yd of Royal blue and I really like it. It has a nice amount of stretch, is a gorgeous deep blue, and is very soft. Please note the color in my 2nd and 3 rd photos is not accurate due to the flash. I do a lot of sewing and I want to note the length of the fabric is 60 inches, which is quite long. If you buy a lot of fabric you know that most fabrics are 36-45 inches long, so even one yard of this is a nice big piece. The fabric seems to be very high quality and I really like it. I also like that the company offers discounts on the larger cuts if I need more I would definitely order the 5-yard cut because that is a good price for a huge amount of fabric. I'm planning to use this to make some costumes for my chihuahua, he is gonna look so cute!

This fabric is a gorgeous shade of blue, and the fabric is soft. However, this fabric is more like velour and is definitely not true velvet or even velveteen. Regardless, it is pretty, has good stretch, and has a nice drape to it, which will translate into a nice garment or fabric item. I haven’t yet decided what I want to make with it, but it needs to be something where the fabric can be appreciated for its tactile qualities. It’s a nice fabric as long as you are aware of what it is and is not.

This fabric is very soft, has great drape, has good stretch and return to original shape, and the cut edge doesn't easily unravel. The color in the product photo matches the fabric in bright sunlight but from different angles or in shadow the color appears darker but still very pretty. The price is reasonable, especially when ordering larger amounts, and it arrived without wrinkles. If you don't have a local fabric store that carries stretch velvet, or if it only has one or two colors and is overpriced, this is a good option with several color choices.
