I just got this in today, and it is really nice. I like the color. It seems like more of a ribbed knit. And it is very warm. So I think I will definitely have to use this for some winter clothes, as i tend to be a little hot natured. I would recommend it!

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this, but it wasn’t this amazing of a product. This fabric is so awesome! It is thick and soft and super stretchy. I can see this holding beading super well, and it would make a fabulous formfitting, and warm dress (because winter exists). Or a great office top. It is 100% opaque. I am still trying to figure out how to use this in my world, but I am so excited because this is just such a high-quality fabric !! I highly recommend! ... show more

As an avid sewer, this is a nice piece of “Modal Spandex Jersey Stretch Knit Fabric.” It has good weight and drape, 4-way stretch that rebounds, and feels soft to the touch. I thought the flowers would be pink and cream with blue leaves, but they are actually orange and beige with royal blue leaves (see pic.) With its good drape, this fabric would make a nice skirt or top. The only problem I’ll have is deciding which garment I should make using this nice-quality fabric. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice heavier weight ribbed knit fabric. Stretches both directions, more in the direction perpendicular to the ribs. It is a dark maroon color with black threads running across the ribs. It appears that the black thread is sticking up from the surface as tiny pulls but it is not the case. It is a strange heather type weave that is not that appealing to me. There are places where the black thread sits on the top for 4 or 5 stitches. These areas look like a pulled thread but again I don't believe it is defective it is just the way it was made. This fabric is the perfect type to use for sleeve cuffs and collars. It is heavier that what you would find on most t-shirts and more like the type you would find on sweatshirts, sweaters or maybe even a leather bomber jacket. If you made a whole garment out of this, keep in mind that when it is stretched such that the ribs open up it becomes somewhat see-thru. Overall, very nice fabric that is not easy to find. Looks like the only other color offered is black, hope they offer some different color options in the future. ... show more

    • Cotton Modal Jersey Knit with Spandex - 4-way Stretch

This knit jersey fabric is so soft and lightweight. It has a good deal of 4-way stretch (vertical and horizontal). That makes is perfect for active wear like T-shirts, shorts and summer clothing. It not only has good stretch, but it also has great recovery so it doesn’t stretch out of shape. The repeating flower pattern is cute and colorful. It has a nice drape and is breathable because it’s mostly made from Cotton Modal. Cotton Modal is very comfortable to wear, so this fabric is an excellent choice when making clothing. It sews well using a ball-point needle (size 11 or 12) or is perfect for sewing with a serger. The two yards is enough to make a T-Shirt, which is what I’m making. I would recommend this jersey knit if you’ve got a sewing project in mind. ... show more
