The Faber Castell fountain pen is fine and arrived in the expected time, but it arrived all stained with ink and for this reason I recommend to the seller that fountain pens should not be sent charged with ink.

The small raised dots are just enough to have something to hold on to, but not enough that you notice it's out of the ordinary. It feels great to write with this excellent pen. Good quality Faber-Castell nib: smooth and juicy. The design of the pen is a bit weird, so it is not for everyone. What I did not like much is the fact that the section is made out of porous material, so when you refill it from the ink-well or bottle, the section is saturated with ink and is in need of thorough cleaning. ... show more

    • Awful pen-- do not waste your money.

The converter would not seal in this pen-- made a mess. When I removed it, cleaned it up, and inserted a cartridge, it still would not write well. It is cheaply made, even for this price point.
