This pen is a great, inexpensive juicy writer, but...it leaks around the nib and turns writing into a terrible mess. I am using a refilled cartridge so will try the proprietary converter to see if it performs better with that. Otherwise cannot recommend and will probably throw away.

The section consists of a inner and outer part. If you ink your pen by dipping the section and converter into the ink bottle, the ink would seeps between the gap of the two, from the gap around the nib all the way towards the threads of the barrel.

The Faber Castell fountain pen is fine and arrived in the expected time, but it arrived all stained with ink and for this reason I recommend to the seller that fountain pens should not be sent charged with ink.
