I got this to add to my home studio setup. It's ok as a basic podcast mixer. The metal housing is nicer than I expected. The sound is ok, nothing great. The instruction sheet is very minimal and could use some expansion.

This is a nifty hardware that is a mixer, effects processor and a sound effects board all built in a single small device that runs on built-in rechargeable battery. You could probably have all the effects in an app or software but the point is that this is done in simple hardware here that operates on battery by itself. The sound effects of echo, voice change, EQs work well. The green button sound bites are cool but is limited to 10 sounds. Also, there is no volume knob control for these sound effects which is annoying since you have to increase microphone gain and decrease overall volume. You can have two microphone inputs but they have to 1/8" plugs. There are a lot of outputs but I don't know why you'd need that many but it's there. Overall, this is a nifty little gadget but it lacks in flexibility but it makes up for just simple ease of use.

If it wasn’t clear from the descriptions, you cannot use a Bluetooth mic, you need a wired mic. Other than that, this is such a fun little board for budding YouTubers or DJs who can cut their teeth on recording, mixing (adding sound effects, do some voice changing), while your playing audio (from a smartphone or computer connected via Bluetooth). I personally like the Eliminate button - which essentially filters out voices. So if you have a song… you now have a Karaoke background. At first I thought I was listening to a new cut of the song that had a new extended instrumentals. Then I realized I could remove the voices from the track, at will. It will remove all voices… to include the backup vocals… so be aware. But if you want your kid (budding sound engineers) to understand layering tracks, this is an awesome tool. You get to hear the subtle instrumentals that you wouldn’t otherwise notice. Did I say good for Karaoke?! 💕 I mean, for $20? Why not!?

I wouldn't suggest this for someone who wants to use this with their music production. Sometimes you come across items that are obscure and make a unique sound to your mixes. This did not fit the bill as sound card to just change my mic around. Nor did it work well with using it on my gaming PC. I guess this isn't meant for those kind of applications though I thought it would be.
