    • Very comfortable
This life jacket is very comfortable, not like the other ones we have had that are so bulky. Also if it doesn't inflate you have two back ups. Pulling the cord manually and blowing up manually. We use it when on dock going to our boat and on boat when fishing.

The item claims it fits an adult up 330 lbs but not in my case. I am a big guy and weigh 246 lbs. Its a little too small for me. Amazon would not accept a return on this item because of the Co2 cartridge but I contacted Eyson and they sent me a pre-paid return label. I was wearing this today when I tipped over my canoe. I Can’t say it saved my life since the water was only chest deep. But it inflated automatically. It’s comfortable economical and effective. A good buy. I got another one for my wife.

Vest saved my life, ended up flipping my boat and by the time I realized I was under water it inflated and I was on the surface. Was doing 80 in rough water the boat hit a wake I didn't see and wasn't prepared for. I'll admit most of the time I don't wear a vest but won't be doing that anymore.     • *** READ THIS REVIEW, BUYER BEWARE *** This product is rubbish
Initially I was happy with the product, it seemed well made, was comfortable, and hey it was 2/3 of the price of the 'big ticket' item and popular brand at my local Cabelas. I used it in both my kayak and my fishing boat. I have never had to use it in anger so to speak, but a month ago I was out kayaking in a rain shower and it deployed. The good news is it worked, but the bad new is it should NOT deploy in the rain. It was quite a shock when it went off while I was paddling. The sales pitch says it won't do that of course. So, no big deal right, so I ordered a replacement Eyson CO2 cartridge from Amazon and was careful to get the correct capacity and model etc. The replacement took two weeks to arrive and lo and behold it doesn't fit. Frustrating, but no problem I will just return it. Nope, 'not eligible for replacement'. So here I am with $100 of life vest and gas cartridge that are now basically useless. I am now going to do what I should have done in the first place, go to Cabela's and purchase the $100 device that everyone uses. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. ... show more
