Perfect for my son for fishing in the sun, no heavy bulky jacket that weighs him done, can’t move around and makes him hot! This does the opposite of life jacket! You can move around better , light and comfortable to wear

This jacket appears to be an excellent value. But my wife and I tried it on and both found it uncomfortable around the neck. That, coupled with the fact that it is not USCG approved, we returned it (2 actually) and bought similar jacked from West Marine that ticked all the boxes. I’m not sure if the Coasties or water patrol stopped you for a safety check would these even count as valid jackets. ... show more

    • Rain can activate the vest.
It can't be stored near moisture or get wet by rain will activate the mechanism to inflate the vest.
