They don't have nosepads to break off, and as long as you don't beat the crap out of them, they hold up fairly well. Plus, they're quite light, and thus more comfortable to wear. For eight bucks a pair, they're worth the money.

I love the flatness of these glasses folded and they feel very good on the face. My only complaint, and it's a pretty big one, is that the black frames crack super fast. Like within a day or so. But the brown ones last very nicely. They use a different plastic for the two versions. The fix is simple, make both colors out of the same material. Otherwise great glasses!

I have been extremely happy with these glasses, I carry them in my pocket all the time. I haven’t had any issues with them, looked at slim optics which have a little flatter profile but the reviews showed a problem with the durability of the case. The case is really the important part of be able to carry these glasses in your pocket. I call things like I see them, I have written my share of bad reviews but in this instance I highly recommend these glasses, unfortunately I’ll be buying some more soon because the strength of glasses I need have increased!

These are really slim and great for small purses or pockets I have ordered these 2 x. Once for me and once for my husband. My husband's pair has already broken. One of the ear pieces broke off at its hinge and he hadn't used them much at all. I am a little disappointed since he is better at handling more delicate things than I am and my glasses are still good. Could I have gotten a defective pair ?

These frames come in lightweight metal, which fit comfortable on your nose and you can keep them on for hours. I like these frames because they are so light on my face. I'd recommend this to those looking for really sturdy comfortable reading glasses.

If you only wear glasses to read, these are great to have when you're out and about. They don't look that bad when you're only wearing them momentarily to check your phone, read a menu etc, and have a pretty solid compact case that's easy to open and fits easily in your front pocket even with car keys or other stuff.

These glasses are stored flat, making the case small and pocket-able. That is the main reason I bought these glasses. Because everything is flat, they are not very comfortable. You can bend the ear pieces but then the glasses won't lie flat and the case won't close. Not a big deal as I only use these when I go out to eat and I don't want to carry a bulky glasses case. I wear them for only a few minutes at a time so comfort is not a big deal but if you are planning on using these throughout the day, these flat glasses may not work. Otherwise the glasses are well made and the optics are good.
