This helmet was exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable, solid and adjustable. The helmet meets all national safety standards as you would expect BUT this is clearly not the helmet for you if you are jumping off cliffs or taking massive jumps into trees. The helmet is PERFECT for normal skiing or snowboarding. The fit is snug but not too tight. The materials are solid on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. If you are a normal casual skier/snowboarder there is no need to spend $150 for a helmet. This one will keep you safe and warm.

Adjustable head strap made it very easy to get a snug helmet fit, and the built in ski goggle strap kept my goggles securely on my helmet. Reasonably priced and highly recommended for winter sports enjoyers of any skill level!

People laughed when I said I got my ski helmet for under $50, but hey it fit well and it kept my head and ears warm for five days in <30 weather on the slopes. Main materials seems to be a foam, similar to bicycle helmets.

I wore this for a ski trip and was glad I took it. I fell my first day when I was required to have a helmet and lightly tapped my head to the ground. I thought ok I’ll wear it the rest of the trip but didn’t fall in a way to hit my head agin. Our last day everyone stayed back so my husband decided to snowboard instead of ski. I suggested he take my helmet and he laughed at me at first but since a large majority of snowboarders were wearing them he said ok. An hour later he texted me to tell me had a hard fall a few minutes before and was still sitting there a little stunned from how hard he hit and knows how bad it would have been without that helmet. This helmet saved our trip and possibly his life.
