After a less-than-ideal experience with a similar product from a different brand, I decided to give the eXtremeRate Gold Glossy Faceplate Shell for the PS5 controller a try, and I am pleased to say that it exceeded my expectations in terms of fit and quality. One of the standout features of this faceplate shell is its perfect fit. Unlike my previous purchase, which left much to be desired in terms of compatibility, the eXtremeRate faceplate shell fit my PS5 controller like a glove. The installation process was straightforward, and the shell added a touch of style and personalization to my controller without compromising functionality. However, there was one minor downside to my experience with this product. The package included additional rings designed to fit into the joysticks, which I personally did not find necessary. While this was a small inconvenience, it did not significantly detract from the overall positive impression I had of the faceplate shell. In conclusion, the eXtremeRate Gold Glossy Faceplate Shell for the PS5 controller delivers on its promise of a perfect fit and quality construction. I was worried when I bought this that it would just be a blue/purple spray paint, and not truly irridescent. My fears were pointless, it looks amazing, and changes colors beautifully as you tilt it. Super easy to install, the one tool you need comes in the box. I didn't even need the rings it comes with (mine weren't worn out). Great that it comes with spares. A++

The media could not be loaded. This piece finished the look I wanted. It was so simple to install. I watched the video one time about a week ago and had no problem completing the upgrade.
