Description

BoatTector's 2-in-1 PWC Sand Anchor is designed for use with PWCs and other light watercraft, such as paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, small inflatables, and more! While not in use, the anchor folds into a tight, compact size that will never damage your PWC, regardless of how rough the ride gets, making it perfect for storage in any compartment. When it's time to anchor your PWC, open up the anchor bag and fill it with sand and small rocks, creating an anchor heavy enough to hold your craft in place! The bag may also be used as a 20 liter dry bag, keeping your clothes, towels, wallets, and cell phones safe and dry while out on the water. The Sand Anchor includes a 12' anchor line containing a line float and a strong stainless steel snap hook at each end for easy connection to both the anchor and the vessel.

  • Full assessment
The bag itself appears to be well constructed and only time will tell if the seams hold. The anchor line provided is short for my purposes but can be easily upgraded. The hook is VERY substantial. The provided float is easy to adjust. The weak link is the triangular metal ring between the bag and the anchor line. It is a reasonable buy. ... show more

  • Easy to use. Sturdiness so far is OK
Very easy to use, and holds our waverunner put in SD bay. Seems like it could break if you lift it or drag it too aggressively, so be gentle and it should last a while.

  • Anchor bag
I used this as a canoe anchor in BWCA this past June. Held me in place where I wanted to stay. Worked great with a few adjustment. First off get rid of that nylon rope. It is only 6 feet and replace it with about 30 feet of 550 cord. Make a loop mid line, turn it in on itself which makes two smaller loops, slide the locking hook into them and it will lock your depth. Takes a little practice to get right but once you know how it's easy. Second replace the line lock with a better one. Or don't worry about it at all. The handle on bottom helps to flip it over and just dump the rocks out quickly. And third punch a hole in the center and add a strong gromet. This will allow water to escape from the bag as you lift it back out of the water. Also only load it with small to medium sized rocks. And don't over load it. I only placed 4-5 large fist sized rocks into this and had no problems with it holding my canoe in place. If you are handy or know someone who can. Attach another loop adjacent from the original with a triangle attachment and pass your line through it should make for a stronger anchor bag. Over all I was pleased with my purchase. You can not expect gold if you don't pay high prices. ... show more

  • It will hold jet ski
You have to fill it with a lot of sand or rocks... But it fits in storage cabin when not in use.

  • I bought this as a float anchor
I live by the gulf of mexico and I love to float but I hate that the current carries me away from my beach spot. I got this to attach to my float so I don't float away and It 100% works. I'm about 200lbs and It's easy to fill and move in the water. I highly reccomend this!

  • Highly recommend
Super easy to use. Read some mixed reviews and was nervous to use this in the bay as it was a rough day on the water. Put about 2-3 rocks in the bottom and filled the rest up with sand. Doesn’t look like it closes all the way but nothing leaked out and held strong even with the strong winds and choppiness! Highly recommend and great value. Easy to empty out and take home when done. ... show more
