Description

The delta anchor design uses a combination of design and weight to provide a fast set and solid hold in sandy, rocky, gravel or kelp bottom conditions. Delta anchors work well with a remote windlass and launch easily from standard bow rollers. This anchor style is impervious to tides and wind movement. Note: This anchor style does not work well in soft/loose bed conditions like mud.

Would buy again! I rig it upside down with zip ties. Has bottom attachment point, which is my primary and secondary at the top with zip ties. This allows you to flip the anchor when hung and recover it, Did I mention it sets easy and holds!

Bought this for our 22’ boat in a deep lake and it holds really nicely compared to our danforth anchor. Used in freshwater just a few times so far so can’t speak to durability and longevity but the welds seem solid. The finish isn’t the prettiest but who cares. We upgraded to a much bigger pontoon and knew we needed a bigger anchor. Some googling lead me to this type of anchor, which said it was the best option for our size boat. We tie up on a fairly calm lake, but our Tritoon is over 25 feet and being super buoyant due to the three pontoons it bounces around a bit more. This definitely does the trick and keeps us in place!     • Nice, heavy. Held like superman. A bit rough to take out, but holds, really holds and sets quick.

Its pretty heavy duty. But I wasn't worried about dragging for a bit. Once it's set and that easy to break it, it would require some strength to take it out unless you have a windless. I l like it!
