They seemed thin out of the package and shed quite a bit of lint in the dryer but am keeping an open mind. I've slept on them several nights and there's no shedding and I don't overheat but stay cozy warm. I loved these sheets when I first received them, although they weren't as soft as I had hoped. However, after a couple months, they started getting the little beads on them as seen in the picture.
