The flat head was great for driving these stakes straight into the ground. I was also looking for stakes that were ribbed and not just smooth. These have been outside in strong winds and multiple kids jumping on the trampoline and haven't budged a bit.

We had an F3 tornado come back behind our house literally knocked down power lines in my yard but my trampoline is holding strong. Did not budge!!! We put 2 on each trampoline leg and it’s working perfectly. Oklahoma gets some crazy strong wind. Definitely recommend.

They are definitely sturdy but I did not take into consideration the thickness of the bars on my trampoline so they aren't as deep into the ground as I would have liked. I bought these after a very windy day blew our trampoline into the neighbors yard and although it has still been very windy its been nothing like that day.
