These are very nice, soft sheets. Love the 4 pillow cases and the deep pocket fitted sheet that fits my mattress topper perfectly! The color matched perfectly to the picture… however I was hoping they’d be “cooling” or cool to the touch like other marketed products. They are not..they are a plain microfiber set. I’d imagine they are “cooler” than other materials such as Jersey sheets or flannel, but they should not be listed as “cooling”. Prior to buying this set of sheets, I tried just the pillow cases. I had a more expensive set of Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow cases, but every night I had to flip the pillow because it was too warm even when the room was cool. I bought the pillow cases for both my husband and myself, and we both saw an immediate improvement in our Samsung watch sleep scores. The pillow cases were so soft and I no longer woke up during the night with my head being too warm. The sheets I had been using were supposed to be for thick mattresses, and fit at first. I have a 12 inch mattress, and after a few washings, these sheets wouldn't stay on one corner of the mattress. There was no way I could stretch it over all four corners. Since I was so happy with the pillow cases of this brand, I decided to buy the sheet set. As I normally do, I washed and dried the set before using them. The sheets are every bit as soft and comfortable as the pillow cases, and they were wrinkle free with absolutely no pilling after washing. Putting them on my 12 inch mattress was a breeze. They fit over all the corners and even tucked in on all sides. The sheets are every bit as soft and comfortable as the pillow cases I had bought previously. Since I put them on my bed when warm weather was coming, I put away some of the blankets and comforters I had on my bed for the winter. I found that these sheets, are not quite as warm as my previous heavier sheets. For me this is a good thing as I used to wake up in the night sweating with my PJ's stuck to me. When I pushed down the covers, I would be freezing because my PJ's were wet. Since my bedroom is usually cool, I put some of the blankets back on my bed, but now I don't wake up sweating. Now I can use my blankets without sweating and having to push them to the bottom of the bed during the night, and my sleep score, measured by my Samsung watch, is consistently 10 or more points higher than it was before using these sheets. If you tend to sleep warm, these sheets would be perfect for you. At this point, I very much prefer these sheets over the stiffer, heavier Egyptian cotton sheets that don't breath. I should also mention that I bought the burgundy color that is a true burgundy - not red. UPDATE 7/25/22: I have been using these sheets for almost 1 1/2 years, and they have been washed and dried multiple times. They still look and feel as good as the first time I used them. They have not pilled or shrunk, and still fit on my bed as well as they did when they were new. Although I bought the set for a double bed, the pillow cases are large enough to fit the queen sized pillows I have, and are long enough the enveloping flap on the ends of them is really not needed. I still love this set of sheets, and will likely buy another set. UPDATE 08/10/23: I have been using this set of sheets for about 2 1/2 years, I and I still love them. I have been using only this one set of sheets. I take them off my bed, machine wash and dry them, and put them back on. They have not shrunk, pilled, or faded, and look as good as the day I bought them. I like these so much better than cotton sheets I have had in the past, including Egyptian cotton. They are so soft, not stiff at all. I decided to buy another set in case they stop selling them and thought I would update my review while I was here. I hope this review was helpful for you. Finally—Sheets That Actually Fit My Extra Deep Mattress! Reviewed by: Verified Buyer I’ve gone through so many sheet sets that claimed to fit deep mattresses but popped off the corners every single night. Not these! These are the first sheets I’ve found that actually stay in place — even with a thick mattress and a 4-inch memory foam topper. The deep pockets (up to 24 inches!) are the real deal, and the elastic is strong and secure. The fitted sheet hugs the mattress perfectly without riding up, and the flat sheet is generously sized too — no tug-of-war in the middle of the night. I also love that this set comes with FOUR pillowcases, and the embroidered design gives a nice, classy touch. The microfiber fabric is incredibly soft — not crisp like cotton, but lightweight and cozy. I was a cotton-only person before, but I’m seriously impressed with how smooth and luxurious these feel. YES! Finally a true extra deep pocket sheet set for a California King! I have a Nectar Cal King mattress and I loved the sheet set that came with the mattress but I needed a second set to place on it when I wash the bedding. First, the fitted sheet goes under the mattress. Usually the fitted sheets just go down to the bottom of the mattress and over time the elastic loosens and the sheet slowly starts to roll up to the top of the mattress and it usually happens while we’re sleeping. Second, the flat sheet is extra big so no more fighting over which side has more of the sheet while the other side is short. Third, FOUR pillow cases. I purchased the white sheet set (because, why not?). I just put them on my bed for the first time today’s so I can’t comment, yet, on whether stains from body oils will stain the sheets but I’m hopeful that they will wash out. Fourth, the sheets are as soft as advertised. They appear to be well made, not thin at all. They feel soft and sturdy. I have high expectations for this brand. ... show more
