This summer nightgown seems identical to the Vanity Fair nightgowns I began wearing 50 years ago. It is sleeveless and knee length, made of nylon that is thick enough not to be see-through, but light-weight enough to be as cool as possible. It is the coolest nightgown I like to wear most on very hot summer nights without airconditioning. I am obese, usually wear a 1X or 2X. I ordered this for my 94 year old Mother-In-Law. She loves them! I have this is a pink as well as the pretty dark blue. However, with the brighter color, you don't want to do a loat on extra hot water-aka, the sanitizer setting. It will turn all your whites to a beautiful bluish color.
