Ok so I have only used this once so far. How well it last remains to be seen but is seems to made similar to some older portable coolers I had. They all lasted at least 5 years. Those were for me as an individual. I wanted something for small trips with the family. We have family we like to visit that live 2-4 hours away. So close that a big cooler just is too troublesome and I have to use all my custom coolers to take stuff for the family. With this one, it is big enough to handle drinks and snacks for the family, reducing the need for the other coolers. It is fairly easy to clean and with care should last a while. I have given it high marks because for I can see and from my examination it seems to be a well thought out product and it appeals to both the outdoorsman and tactical people (i.e. military and emergency response types.) It has a lot of pockets to put stull and a top self for snacks that you want cool but do not want wet from ice, Also a side compartment that can do the same thing. It is big enough to be a snack / drink carrier for short trips to supply a small group. It is large enough for decent size meal for one person on a long trip. I like the fact it has VELCRO style material where I can put some of my old army patches on, plus it comes with an American Flag and eagle patch that makes for a nice addition. I chose black because I am retired and do not need to live in Camo any longer, but you have the option. This cooler has been designed with the MOLLE system in mind. This makes it versatile for all kinds of activities, especially out adventure types. MOLLE (pronounced /ˈmɒl.liː/ MOL-lee,[citation needed] homophonic with the name Molly) is an acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. It is used to define the current generation of load-bearing equipment and backpacks used by a number of NATO armed forces, especially the British Army and the United States Army.
