  • Easy installation
Product looks durable. The only thing that was an issue was that the bolts were to big (diameter) for my catalytic converter on a 2008 Audi A4 B7, so I had to go out and get new bolts to fit

  • Good part
Sucks getting it together should have came with new bolts! And not sure if it fits but looks like the same piece I have an Audi A4 1.8t

  • Automatic Audi A4 B7 Sedan.
This was a perfect fit for my Automatic Audi A4 B7 Sedan. No more exhaust leaks. If you have a manual A4, this install is going to be much easier, but for Automatic, this is going to be more of a struggle for you, as there is lack of room. This is about my 4th time doing something with removing the flex pipe/downpipe, so it took me about 2 hours to install and put everything back together. ... show more

  • Do not buy! Wrong part
I really hope you read this before buying. This is not the right part for my 2006 A4 2.0t. The flex joint is in the wrong location and the side mounting bracket does not align with anything. I was already a few hours into this job before I was able to realize this. I installed it anyway and now there is a vicious metal on metal rattle from 1000-1500 RPM. It took me 6 hours to do this job and now I am forced to do it all over again due to this irresponsible seller. ... show more

Perfect replacement for my blown out flex pipe

  • Nice quality, Difficult install!
This is the correct pipe for automatice tiptronic audi transmissions! Not for manual transmissions! I have installed these flex pipes on manual transmission Audi in the past. They were not very difficult. I knew that the tiptronic transmission would give me less space, but didn't expect it to be much different. I tried to disconnect the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter while the cat was still on the car. I did not succeed. The factory bolts were rusted and very easily stripped out. I should have used an Extractor socket, that would have probably separated the exhaust pipe from the cat. Or just tighten the factory bolts until the heads snap off. Instead I chose to unbolt the catalytic converter from the turbo. I was unable to remove the cat & exhaust pipe from the engine bay. I then removed 1 of the studs on the turbo, and did every combination of raising and lowering of the engine and transmission, but still could not get the exhaust pipe & cat to exit my engine bay. The hanger on the factory exhaust was hitting the transmission and it just wasn't coming out. My solution: A sawzall. I lowered the factory exhaust & catalytic converter by about a foot, got under the car and used a sawzall to cut off the hanger on my original broken factory exhaust flex pipe. I then removed the exhaust pipe and cat from the top of my engine bay, and easily separated the bolts that were mating them together. The bolts were weak. And very easily snapped. This is why I say I should have just tried to tighten the bolts and purposely snap the heads off while still attached to the car. I am glad I removed the cat and everything as this gave me much more room to work. Having that extra space allowed me to stick my head in the engine bay and look around. I was able to spot my oil leak that was coming from my vacuum pump (now I know why I was having brake pressure issues), and gave me a very clear view of my coolant flange which was seeping coolant due to the seals swelling from all of the oil leaking from the vacuum pump directly above the coolant flange. What was going to be a repair of a simple exhaust leak turned into a repair for exhaust leak, oil leak, brake pressure leak, coolant leak, and although not related to my exhaust job, i decided hunt around for my boost leak, to clear up all leaks of this vehicle. Found the boost leak to be from my air intake temp sensor, the oring was worn out. Long story short, this exhaust pipe seems to be of nice quality. No more leaking flex pipe. The gasket and sleeve clamp are nice, and made it worth buying this brand over others that do not include the sleeve clamp. Minus 1 star for the hanger fitment. It is just a little bit out of place, and I was NOT able to bolt it up by myself. Im sure this bolt for the hanger could be easily installed with 2 people. 1 person lining up the hanger and holding it in place, while the 2nd person attaches the bolt. ... show more
